I'm based in Dallas for school right now, which has an incredible boutique fitness scene, especially when it comes to spin. So when I'm home for the holidays, I of course had to find a place to get my ride on. I found Clique Cycle after looking far and wide. Definitely think that Clique Cycle fills a niche in the LR fitness market, where boutique fitness hasn't quite hit its stride (yet). Their classes are hard, and if you're a beginner, I think it can be a little hard to follow since a lot of their moves take a lot of core and experience on the bike. However, they definitely emphasize taking things at your own pace, which I think is awesome. Definitely breathless and sweating every time, and their moves are fun and unique. A couple of cons. It can be hard to hear what the instructors are saying sometimes, and if you aren't familiar with their rotation of moves, it's easy to feel like you're always behind or off the beat. They also focus a lot on fast feet, and I think there could be more power songs incorporated for a more balanced ride. I think their arms song could be a bit more challenging as well. And I also wish they had SPD clips in addition to the Look Deltas they have. (No Tiems here!) The best thing about this place is definitely the community. You can definitely tell this place has a lot of regulars, and the instructors know a lot of riders by name. Definitely a great option if you're looking for a studio that is heavy on the choreo and has a club-style setup (less HIIT). They also have a separate flow class that's floor-based. read more

The pictures don't really give this place justice. Once the lights go out, it's a totally different feel - an amazing club feel with an amazing beat. The workout involves your entire body moving to the beat of the music while cycling and some hand weights toward the end. It's the most fun workout I've ever had. Best part is no one can see that I have no rhythm because it's so dark! You can truly enjoy your own ride. On your first free ride, you get a water bottle and personal help on how to adjust your bike, learn about positions etc. cycle shoes to wear are included. The cycle room should stay dark for the light effects, so cell phones should stay in the lockers so it doesn't distract from anyone's experience - SO each locker is built in with a usb charger so you can charge your phone. They have a filtered water stations, hair accessories (in case you forgot your hair tie, gum, etc. it sure is an experience. There is a first timer package of 3 classes for $25 and I was able to also go to a free community class they had - that is an incredibly deal!! The owners are incredibly nice and helpful, both cycle instructors I rode with so far Hope and McKenna were amazing and kind. Lastly, I left my Apple Watch on my bike this evening and the owner ran it out to me. Thanks again, this has made my trip to Little Rock awesome. read more
