He discussed with the couple and was happy to work with their plans and what they did and didn't want, and very thoughtful about the photography options with great suggestions. He was a super nice guy as well. The day of the event he was professional, very flexible in the face of lots of cooks in the kitchen, clearly knew what he was doing, and really nice to work with. He knew how to compose shots and make them look great. But most important, the pictures came out wonderful! Tom did a great job. He was very professional and charismatic. Even though we were both late to the…read moreshooting location (the beach) due to a traffic jam, he showed no impatience whatsoever. He asked us what we wanted and made sure to get every shot we asked for. But we certainly didn't have to give him a script, we let him be the photographer and give us advice on what to do, where to go, how to do things....so it made it very easy, just look at the camera and smile. Tom seemed willing to do whatever we wanted though; if we wanted something a certain way, that's what he did; if we wanted to take direction, he gave us direction. He didn't even flinch when our son repeated shanked him in back on multiple ocassions with a crab claw in the middle of a photo, in fact he seemed to like it, (which I know he probably did not). Our sesssion was scheduled for an hour, but it felt like we were there longer, and not once was there a mention of time; it seemed like he was willing to stay there until we were satisfied. So what that says is that customer satisfaction is paramount to him, which is the way it should be, but a lot of times, it's difficult to find. Also, he is very reasonably priced. He didn't have extravagant "fees" or extra costs thrown in there. It was cut and dry, straight forward.
