A complete thief. He took $200 to fix our clock and never fixed it or returned it. He does not respond to calls or letters. DO NOT USE

This is a warning not to use this operation. Ben Gaines does not stand behind his work or offer any meaningful warranty. I took a large wall clock to him for a new battery mechanism and he installed an old one that he had instead of a new one. It stopped working almost immediately and he told me the batteries I was using must be bad. After trying several new batteries, he had to admit that it was the mechanism and promised to install a new one. However, he has become impossible to get in touch with and now will not return my phone calls. I paid $100.00 for this clock repair and got nothing except a lot of trouble and some empty promises. Now I will have to take it to someone else and pay for what I should have gotten in the first place. He seems like a nice guy and has knowledge about clocks, but unfortunately is not an honorable businessman. read more
