A friend of mine had a clock repaired.... $17 was the total...really $17. How do you keep the doors open for that? Not many clock repair places left anymore. A pleasant older man runs the place. Did I expect to see a young man running a clock repair shop, not really. It's a fading art. read more

It's a lovely shop, filled with beautiful pieces. Unfortunately, the service was not great. Actually, I wouldn't really know, because I didn't receive any. I went in to have a clock repaired. Apparently it was amusing, because the man chuckled at me as he said, "No, I'm not going to work on your little wind up alarm clock!" Silly me! I believe he only takes customers who are worth it. If you've got a major repair on a more expensive item, or if you want to buy something, give it a try. But if it's something small, don't waste your time. read more
