This is the first hotel I've stayed at where they didn't charge us a Hidden fee for being "pet friendly". They honoured the discounted price I found online. Service was friendly, accommodating, and genuine. We called ahead to check availability. They didn't even make us pay up front, just took our name and preference for a king size. We parked here with TWO pickup trucks and a trailer. No problem, no questions asked, no charge. It gets better... the room had cable, hair dryer, mini fridge, microwave, coffee station, a balcony, was clean, and renovated bathrooms. We slept really well. No disturbances except the odd train going by nearby, but that's typical in this town. We were told there was a hot breakfast available for free in the morning from 6-10. This is not your average continental junk... we had FULL service. Placed an order from a menu, made to order, and unlimited coffee and juice. Photo of our breakfast is attached. Of course, we tipped 10$ cause we were so impressed that this was free. The total per night at this hotel worked out to be... well, let's just say it was under 100$. I don't want to have every person come in and quote our price ;). I HIGHLY recommend this Quality Inn. We are staying another night, and night try out the lounge/bar inside the hotel. I can't express how impressed I am with the value of this place. We will DEFINITELY be back. The rooms have nice TV's, glass cups, nice bathrooms and good soap. The breakfast is higher quality than Microtel or Ramadas continental breakfast. Its not just plain old scrambled eggs. Their scrambler has peppers onions and potatoes eggs and cheese. Its tasty food. The laundry machines have soap attached so you don't have to buy any from the front. Most every parking stall has a plug in. In every way this hotel has exceeded my expectations and I will never stay anywhere else again in Whitecourt. The price is very reasonable considering the quality. I don't usually write reviews but I had to for this wonderful establishment. Work trip or vacation, this is the place to go!

The staff is super friendly and informative for everything from dinner rec's to random hotel questions. They gave us an extra blanket for our dog (also keeps hair off the furniture so that's a win-win) and loaned us an HDMI cable! The hotel recycles which is awesome, has free guest laundry and spacious and clean rooms. We're American, so seeing actual glassware and mouthwash as hotel amenities was exciting. Maybe we should get out more? Anyway, highly, highly recommend this hotel if you're stopping in Whitecourt.

Breakfast is included until 10am, which was an attraction for me. The room was clean, a good size and I noticed that it could connect with the room beside. It has a coffee maker, mini-fridge & microwave. There is a safe available, but be aware there is a nightly charge that you will need to approve on registration. Loved the free WiFi! It is a non-smoking property, however the entry area has a slight smokey smell. I'm really glad the room didn't smell as well. I found it to fit my need on my road trip in getting rested up for a night on my way to my final destination.

The floor is also carpeted which is an interesting choice for a jacuzzi area. The chairs are also very old. Although the staff was friendly enough, it doesn't seem like anything is taken care of in this hotel. There's also nothing to do around the area.
