Came in for a cocktail and to check out the view. The elevator is near the garages. We were promptly seated at a little cocktail table by the hostess and a small container of popcorn was brought out, which was interesting. The cocktails were innovative and tasty but priiiiicey (American hotel prices). We just had the one and moved on quickly to a more local spot. The patio looks like it has a lovely view - perhaps more enjoyable in the spring/summer than in the freezing cold winter! NB: all the of the hostesses and waitresses are wearing Ted Baker dresses. I'm American, from New York, staying at the hotel. After a long day of travel and touristing, we wanted a late drink and snacks. Decided to try Cloud 9... at 10pm on a Friday. Great, fast, FRIENDLY service, really tasty cocktails and the food - we had the bao buns and sweet potato fries. Among the best of each we've had. It's not pricey IMHO - $10 drinks and apps. In NY you won't touch a 'fancy' cocktail under $15. The view, the service, the drink, the food. Go. Have fun. Drop some coin on an enjoyable relaxing evening. read more

My wife and I had a night cap here. It is a hidden gem on the 9th floor of the Hilton Prague. We were greeted as we walked in by the hostess, who was nice. We took a seat at the bar and the bartender was ready to take our order immediately. Our empty glasses didn't sit long. We both had two very unique drinks each. I'll admit one of my drinks was a little too unique. My wife described my breath to a burned down house. I agreed. Very weird taste. My wife enjoyed both of her drinks. One was very gingery and the other was a tasty pineapple and cardamom concoction. The menu is very different and they get points for that. It isn't, however, for everyone. They do serve beer and other spirits for those not so adventurous types. read more

We found out about Cloud 9 from Mishka's list of the best places in Prague. She was right. It was a fun experience. The views from the lounge of the skyline are great. The drinks were creative and mixed well. The seating was comfortable and the ambience was upscale. Our service was prompt all night long. The prices were reasonable. I would note that the surrounding neighborhood seemed a little shady after midnight. We missed the last metro, so we had to walk back to old town. In retrospect, it would have been a better idea to call a cab from the Hilton. read more

This was my first time visiting with some Friends in February 2018. The staff, Kamila and Dominka M. we're very attentive. Reasonably prices for the location and the popcorn was a great touch! I would definitely visit this location again. Reserve your table in the bar area before showing up or you may be seated in the private section of the hallway which is still pretty nice. Combined together is even better They open at 6 every day, and a special elevator, located in the west wing of the hotel, will take you there. The corridor gives a nice impression of the whole venue with interesting views and paintings. If you come there in the summer, you can sit on a terrace. Entering the bar, there is a handy cloak room with nice lady that will seat you on your place. Nice armchairs facing the windows are the best! Very cosy environment for a drink before going out. Cocktails here are made by the best specialists in town, the ingredients they use are just spectacular. You can choose from a long list, but also get recommendation. Cons: - Overpriced drinks - Overpriced food - A "DJ" which is a guy and his mac and a playlist of something along the lines of "ambient electronic" - The kind of people that hang out at hotel bars Pros: - Cocktails are effin amazing, unique, delicious, and not so stingy on the alcohol especially if you make friends with one of the nice friendly bartenders - Food is effin amazing and almost worth the price especially if you are using your work account :P - Great space, lots of comfortable seating - Nice service - Great view As a local, I would recommend this only if you have a hard to please guest visiting and you don't want to hear them complain. One of the loveliest places in town to enjoy a cocktail. The view from the top floor is spectacular. In the summer the have 2 patios to enjoy your drinks outside. The interior has lovely furniture and as of recently is non-smoking which moves it up the list in my book. The servers are efficient and speak excellent English. The cocktail list is creative, although some creations are pricy. I would suggest a reservation so you aren't disappointed. Reservations can be made thru an online portal. read more

Came here thinking the scenery would be amazing but the location is on the off skirts of Prague so when we were on the balcony at night the view was not all that great since everything was really far away. It was also really dark outside so it made it difficult to mingle. The drinks are really good but pretty pricey. The ambiance of the bar is super upscale, I almost forgot I was at Prague. Overall, I think this can be a cute place for business workers, or if you're looking for a classy night out with some girlfriends but if you're visiting Prague for Prague, I would not recommend going here. read more

Make sure you go there when it is dark. Then, only via a secretive elevator with 5 walls of mirrors, you arrive at the Cloud 9's entrance. You will be greeted by delightful music and active happily bouncing light to guide your way through a corridor with view of Prague night. The light seems corresponding to your steps as you are in a good mood. After a pleasant walk, you arrive the bar and lounge with amble space yet not too big that you get the feeling of close person-2-person distance like a usual bar. Bartenders make amazing mixes, they are knowledge, pleasant to chat, yet know when to leave you alone. Food from the bar is very nice. I really enjoyed the lightly fried prawn with fresh salad. The outdoor terrance worths a visit. Comparing to the other bar I visited in Prague, the bill for drink and food is on the high end, yet to me, yet it is justified for service, and overall experience. We had horrifying service, one waiter NEVER made eye contact and another just went by and smiled and when HE finally brought us a drink, it was only for one person, no one else at the table had drinks and he didn't even ask.. ugh... at one point, all 5 of us had our hands up trying to flag down a waiter.. when that didn't work, we just decided to leave.. oh but boy were they fast with the bill!!! The Cloud 9 Sky Bar at the Hilton Hotel is amazing!! We've sampled their cocktails at the Prague Food Festival in past years and have been up to the bar a few times during visits to the city. This last time we decided to splurge a bit and really enjoy ourselves and we had a truly amazing evening. The staff is very professional and attentive and we were never without a drink or something small to nibble on. We sat at both a lounge and at the bar- I recommend the bar as you will get some face time with the bartenders who can offer you advice on what to order. The staff on the bar are really talented and are entertaining with their conversations and bar flair tricks. The bartenders even took our suggestions on new shots to create and ingredients to add to their current cocktails. We all had fun trying them and even the bartenders joined in on the tasting. The liquors and ingredients in the cocktails are all top shelf and even though the drinks are not cheap, they are unique and I feel worth the price they charge. Stuck up cheesy typical hotel bar. The view has a potential but at night the windows reflect light and you can't see much outside.

I went with a few friends whose group was celebrating here and had a great time. The view was lovely and it felt much more posh and modern than most bars in Prague to me.
