Recently had some residential security doors done here. They were older and much better built than the crap made today. They had an original powder coat but over the years had seen some spray paint. I mentioned they are well built, the "sceen" part of the doors is tack welded, not screwed on. This caused problems for sandblasting because the thin screen would heat fast than the 1 1/2 inch bars causing warping. The guys ended up doing a lot of hand sanding. Even though more work, they didn't charge me a dime more. The doors look fantastic! read more

I brought a vehicle to be sandblasted and primer coated. I talked to Jerry and he seemed to have a lot of experience with vehicles so this is the reason I chose this company. Well, they bent and warped multiple panels on the vehicle during movement and blasting (it wasn't like that before. I should know because I welded some of those pieces on. They weren't hidden behind bondo). Additionally, they didn't get all the road tar and glue off the vehicle before applying primer. I talked to them about it at the shop but they said they couldn't really fix it without redoing the entire job. Since they had already warped some panels, I had rented a trailer to pick it up, and because it was so cheap I decided to just take it home. I am giving two stars instead of one because the price was good, some other pieces that I had blasted came out fine, and the customer service was good. read more

We took down the stair rail in our townhouse rental property so new carpet could be installed. We decided to take it to Clovis Powder Coating for a fresh new look. It was previously spray painted black and was looking sad. They powder coated it a nice glossy white and it came out great! The price was reasonable with a turn around time of about 10 days. Horrible customer service! Bright a piece in on Thursday to be powder coated and told to pick it up the following Monday, monday it wasn't finished went down there on the next Thursday a whole week later and it was still sitting on the shelf not done yet!! Told by the owners some to come pick it up in a hour! A HOUR? If it only took an hour then why wasn't it done in a whole week??? Was told that they were gonna take care of their "regular" customers FIRST! Then when I got angry they owners son Pulled a knife out on me and " told me to leave that they didn't want my white thrash business!" Some business they run! I highly don't recommend them at all and do recommend Artistic Powdercoating in Fresno! Great customer service and THE BEST WORK AROUND!! read more

The first time I went it was a small job. It was a small item I needed sandblasted. I was prepared to drop off but they told me to wait because it was going to be quick. They weren't kidding. They were done in about 10 minutes. The second time I went it was a bigger job and they told me they would call me when it was ready. The very next day they called and told me to pick up. They were cordial and the price was more than fair. Highly recommend. read more

Over the past year or so I was rebuilding my truck, only the important mechanical stuff was being taken care, I had no extra money to spend on bling. My kids surprised me for Mother's Day by having all the skid pans powder coated in a simi-gloss black finish. They turned out great, better than the original factory finish (which was mostly worn off) and way tougher too from what they tell me. Nice to know because this is no soccer mom truck!
