There were 15 attractive girls on the night that I visited. The ambience is smart and normal drinks are reasonably priced given that it is a night club. You will be approached by the girls - to be informed that you need to buy them a drink (to engage in conversation), but the only drink that they can have is champagne...minimum price €75! Bottles of Dom Perignon, Moet etc. are grossly inflated and cost several hundred Euros... and that's just to engage in a conversation! You can have a lap dance in the bar area for €75 for about 8 minutes.... However, if you want to go to a private room, it will cost €175 for 30 minutes and €300 for an hour... but that's just for the use of the room! You also have to buy another bottle of champagne for the girl (minimum €75), and that will get you a private dance... and nothing more! Everything else, you will have to pay the girl extra. This could be jacuzzi or massage which will be another €250+ on top of what has been paid already! So, in summary, nice place, nice ambience but ridiculous pricing structure that is, in my opinion, unnecessary. Just say how much services just cost in total rather than all the unnecessary "smoke and mirrors".... and the champagne nonsense is just an overt scam! Even though the girls were very pleasant, I won't be visiting the club when I am in Amsterdam again.

Let's take it from the beginning. I get there and I think it's strange that they don't ask for my phone so they can lock it up. They have done that at other clubs I've been at and I think it's a really good thing to do to make people more comfortable. But okay, it's nothing that I thought any more about in that moment. They also didn't give me a tour around the place. From the beginning there's this guy talking to me, touching me inappropriately and even following me around when I'm not showing any interest back. I eventually have to spell out that I'm not interested, but he still doesn't get it. Later I hear that he has been behaving the same way with a few other women, so I tell a man that's working there and all he says is "I can't kick him out, he paid." I was shocked! So I kept telling him that he had to do something, that I felt uncomfortable and that this is not acceptable behavior in line with the rules on their website. And he says he can't do anything because he can't go away from his booth. I keep nagging and eventually he says I can tell the bartenders and they could give him a warning. The bartender seemed to be very nonchalant about it too. Not sure what happened after that. The night I was there there was not supposed to be any single men allowed, only couples and single women. It said that clearly on club paradise's website and on the event page. And I liked that. It's a very different dynamic when there's lots of guys. And there was an overwhelming amount of single men there. Would have been more okay if they were well-behaved, but they were all aggressive creeps. So I asked a woman working there about it. She also had a very poor attitude, didn't apologize or anything for the wrong info and said that no one was coming so they had to let the men in. I was in a private playroom with someone and we locked the door. Throughout the time we were there, several men kept knocking aggressively on the door and getting close to the glass doors so they could peek in. When we got out they were just hanging out outside the room as if they were waiting for us to open. This club and their employees apparantly let's people behave in whichever way they want without any consequences. The rules on consent, respect etc. on their website are only there to look pretty.

We strolled through the streets and watched as all genders took to their windows for the evening under the glow of the red light. We passed many related shops and businesses. Though it is widely acceptable and for the most part extremely safe, when we were there a campaign was going on to have the district removed from the city centre. During the day there are a few erotic shops and museums (Red Light Secrets Museum) to visit in the area and great to just walk around the area, which is so beautiful w/ the canals and the architecture of all the buildings. The area is very clean (see pics included in this review) and felt very safe both during the day and at night. You will see the very beautiful ladies in their windows while walking through the RLD but please be courteous and respectful and NOT take any pics or gawk at them. At night the area lights up in red lights everywhere, giving the "red light" effect (see pic included in this review) and it is really cool to see. -- Public Restrooms : There are public restrooms (called toilets by those in Amsterdam) but most charge a fee to use them ($1-$3) and you can pay using ApplePay. There is a public toilet called the "Sexy Loo" located in RLD that was very interesting to use w/ sexy videos on the doors in the ladies toilets (see videos included in this review) & I actually didn't mind paying the $3 fee to use these toilets because they are very clean & I just loved getting to look at the "eye candy" while using the loo ;)). The next half hour or so was full of a complete history of how the red lights district operates, everything to know about the girls and what they have to do, and a whole lot of everything in between. This place was super informative and I loved every second of it (and yes, we do see boobs inside). Overall, Red Lights Secrets was a fantastic experience and a must for anyone wanting to learn about prostitution in Amsterdam and the history of this great city.
