I went to here for the first time last night with a friend and it was really cool. Started out a bit slow, but got into full swing around 23:00-23:40. The show was amazing and all the people I chatted with were nice, although I'll admit that I'm not really too chatty of a person unless someone else is starting the conversation. Not much more a guy can ask for to be honest considering I can't find a single thing to complain about. If you want a full dance floor, then play better music. The DJ is quite rude and told us he won't take suggestions without a $50 tip. I understand why people drive to the city to go to Angles. This is such a great place to come and enjoy some great music, drinks, and entertainment! The music selection always blows me away. The bartenders are always super friendly. Franklin makes killer drinks by the way. I don't care much for the drag stuff, but everything else is amazing. And plus, it's a gay bar--so I can't really say much about what they would like to hold. I know they cater to a large crowd. I think feeling welcome here is another huge thing. David is a very kind guy! Got the pleasure of meeting him a few times. I suggest going here with more than just one friend and if you are going to take your partner have a third wheel come with you if this is your first time to this club, Tulsa is full of freaks and sometimes you will run into the extremely creepy freaks. I first came here during the Pride Weekend, the 6th of June around 10 pm. Just a fair warning, IGNORE THE SIGN painted on the glass doors before you walk in, they need it, the sign says only 21+ can enter but that is not true, it was Friday night and that is one of the few nights 18+ can enter. I was told it was only $4 to get in but that is only if you are under 21, you have to pay $8 if you are at least 21. That caught me by surprise. But despite the higher price the drinks there were inexpensive, just make sure to have a couple bucks on you for water! $1 per cup of cold water. It isn't too roomy but if you start dancing people will hopefully make room if you are moving your feet to get to a different location, if not then bump them, this is mainly a gay bar so expect some people to rub up against you, even if you don't want them to. I am a genderfluid lesbian and somehow I got hit on by 2 or 3 men at this club. I am more than likely going to bind my breasts before I hit this club again to see if the weird heterosexual men will not hit on me. Seriously, I almost punched this one jerk in the face, he was rude...with his touching. Too strong. Just some advice, if you are hesitant on saying "yes" to dancing with someone just say "no thank you" I don't care how nice of a person you are. It just gets awkward after you say "yes". But all in all, great club, could be a lot bigger though. And there are sexy pole dancers and sporadic mini drag shows throughout the night. Be safe! read more

This bar is ok -- decent music, nice dance floor. It is terribly smokey, but that's Oklahoma for you! Freedom to smoke trumps freedom to breathe here. The drinks are reasonably priced and decent, but the bartenders seem genuinely surprised and confused when you order anything off their drink menu. But, they figure it out and it's tasty in the end. What really irritates me about this place in the two times I've been there is that at 1:30 (I think... may have been 1:00) the lights come on and the DJ announces the bar is closed, out of the blue. You have to be watching some tiny video screens to see last call. Then at about 1:31 they say "The coat check is now closed." I have no idea what this means -- can you not get your coat at 1:31? The funniest one is at 1:31 and 30 seconds: "The bar is now closed, any cards left at the bar can be picked up tomorrow. Cards left overnight will incur an additional charge." I'd love to see them try and justify that to Visa: if they charged me for forgetting my card, they'd get a charge back before the day was out. If you like good music and dancing, check this place out. Just leave 10 minutes before they close because the unwelcoming announcements have such a bad vibe about them that you'll leave there feeling like you were thrown out with the trash. I'm straight, but my wife is bi so I go here with her. It's a good club in Tulsa even though Tulsa doesn't have any good clubs because they love that crappy country crap music that people "dance" to. Com'on they spin around to no beat...wtf? This place has a little bit of pricey drinks, a good atmosphere, and the divas are hilarious and fun. I always tip them when they go onstage because they put a lot of thought into their get ups and put a lot of effort into their costumes. The people there are a little bashful, except for the creepy ones that come on too strong. There are pool tables on the 2nd floor that oversees the dance floor so you can be a voyeur freak instead of actually participating in the dancing or activity. Overall, I have a decent time there and get only a little creeped out. read more

Pretty straightforward. It's a (mostly) gay dance club. As far as those go, the building is fairly classy and well-kept as a general rule, but the crowd can be iffy. It's 21+ Saturday nights and 18+ Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. The bartenders are nice and make good, reasonably priced drinks. My friends and I go to Majestic regularly and always have a great time. We love the judge free vibe. However, when my friends and I were dancing together last night, having a great time, someone walks over to us and accused me and my friend (we are both underage, I was drinking a cup of water) of underage drinking. It was offensive considering neither of us had even a sip to drink. It really killed the whole vibe. I would suggest using something that marks whether a beverage is alcoholic or not because this was extremely rude. read more

Place was cool to be in Tulsa. They allow smokers inside the building so you will be a second hand smoker. Music was good. Not to croud. Charged $10 to get in but not worth it. If you want to go dancing or see a fun drag show, then Majestic is where to go. Downside is they only take cash at the door and there is most always a cover on the weekend. Drinks are easy to get and they do take cards there. Although it appears to be nonsmoking inside you will randomly see people light up and they don't stop them. This is supposed to be a brother club of OYP (Openarms Youth project). OYP is 14yo to 20yo's and Majestic starts at 18 on some nights and 21 others. This place is THE gay bar/club in Tulsa. I've been to Club Majestic dozens of times, and regularly party in Miami (Twist, Score, Mojo) and NYC (Fabian parties, The Ritz, Splash, etc). Here are the pluses and minuses: MINUSES: -For those adverse to smoke, they allow smoking. But practically nobody smokes on the dance floor, and there's an outside patio area with chairs/tables that most smokers use. -On Thursday and Friday nights they interrupt the music with drag shows or contests (Like "Hoe You Think You Can Dance?"). What this means is that on Thur/Fri evenings, you can expect to have 20% of the time watching a show/drag queen/contestants. This is periodic and occurs in 10 minutes intervals once an hour or so. It's a blessing really because you can use the restroom, get a new drink, or chat a few minutes. -There's sometimes a line from like 10 to 11:30, when people start showing up in droves. There's no "door policy" and you'll get in, but you might have to wait in line like 5 minutes. This is also because the door person has to run coatcheck, which is the weak link. PLUSES: -Live DJ every night who takes reasonable requests. -State of the Art sound/lighting system. It even raises and lowers above the dance floor. -A dancing "box," two ten-foot tall "cages" and another "box with a stripper pole" on the dance floor. Sounds trashy, but it's fun. And the stripper pole goes like 30 feet in the air to the second floor. -Two floors. Two bars (or stations really, same long bar) downstairs, two bars upstairs. I've never waited longer than 5 minutes for a drink and usually I'm the second in line. They know how to sell drinks quickly. -Strong drinks and fun/cute bartenders. -Great mix of Top 40 music/hits, dance/club music, and some older favorites. It's kind of like listening to the popular radio station, but the songs are mixed together, and the DJ really gets the dance floor going. Pro tips: -No one arrives before 9pm. Head to a neighboring straight bar (literally feet away), or walk 1 block to "209," an upscale gay vodka bar. A typical night for me is 209 from 9 until 10:30, and then Club Majestic 10:30 until 1:45 (when ALL bars in Oklahoma close). -Be prepared to dance. Seriously, like 80% of the people there hit the dance floor. It's a really welcoming environment and gets going like crazy at about midnight-ish. -They take cards/tabs or cash. -I've found the Long Island Iced Teas (premade) to be the best liquor to money value. Their Yeagar shots are reasonably priced, and whiskey selection is good too. Several beers, but it IS a gay bar, so don't go looking for a sea of taps. Also, they refuse to sell Stoli vodka now because of the anti-LGBT legislation they passed prior to the 2013 Sochi Olympics. So you can't get Stoli. Take Goose or something else. -Entrance is free Thursday, but costs 4 dollars on Fridays and Saturdays. IF you order a drink or two at 209, ask for a FREE ENTRANCE card to Club Majestic. Saves you $4 dollars and makes you feel VIP and like an insider. -18 and up only on Friday, all other nights 21 to enter and drink. Club Majestic welcomes EVERYONE. Gay, lesbian, bi, and straight. Everyone just has a fun time dancing, drinking, singing and talking. It's a fairly chill gay bar, no judgments or condescension. You'll see people in dresses, suits, and jeans and flip flops. Just come as you are or want to. It's fun. Great place to gays, gay friendly individuals, bridal parties, "hags," and anyone else looking to dance. read more

Definitely agree that coming after 11pm is a must! My girls and I got there at 10pm and there was literally one other person there. There was an older guy who was dancing by himself complete with kicks and spins. The music was mostly techno with a sprinkle of dance/pop.
