I have been getting my nails and toes done for as long as I can remember and as loyal as I was to one salon as their clientele grew.... their customer service and technique went down. WELL.... I guess it was nail fate because I now have found my go to place. The service was fast and I walked out with more than what I wanted! I get SNS with tips and a design and I was feeling very sassy walking out of the salon that day and for at least 3 weeks after! This is a very very late review and I will post another one with a picture of my nails but as I am sitting here looking at my plain Jane nails, I realize that I need to go back to Club Nails A.S.A.P!!! I needed a pedicure and this was near my hotel so checked online and called for an appointment. I called and the staff told me they could take me right away. Selina did my pedicure. I got the cheapest option which was $42. It was an extra $20 for gel, which was the only option for nail color. Selina did a great job and I'd go to her again. The staff seemed nice. I talked to them about foods I'd tried from their culture and how some prepare theirs. The music they had playing was nice and everyone was pretty chill. Little time left to get them fixed and my husband didn't wanna spend time driving back there & arguing (we paid cash, so likely to no win for us I suppose), so we spent another $70 & had them fixed elsewhere closer to home. I had no clue her nails were this badly done until we had left & were at lunch. At first glance, fingers down and fist curled, they looked ok. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CLUB NAILS 1 OR 2. VERY POOR SERVICE! I am not sure where to even begin. I went to the Club Nail 1 on Friday; 8/8/25. Myself was serviced (pedicure) by a male; not sure of his name-he did an okay job, but could've been better. My 6yo granddaughter (GD), was serviced by a female- name; unknown. Initially, my GD wanted to get very short tips added, but when I was informed she was going to be charged an adult price of $70, I was like never-mind-she is just 6yo, and this is not going to last long. After going back and forth of what a 6yo child wants (as you can only imagine), her final decision was French manicure on her fingers and pink French on her toes. Throughout the entire time the female tech was doing my GD's nails, I would notice at times she appeared to be frustrated-not too friendly. Now, there were times my GD was moving, but what do you expect SHE IS 6YO!? Fast forwarding, after she completed the pedicure, she moved to the manicure. She kept my GD in the pedicure chair, as if she did not want my GD to sit in a regular chair. As she continued the service, she continued to appear frustrated. I politely explained to her it was probably best if my GD could sit in a chair. Her response was "well I didn't want her to mess up her toes, and I am applying extra topcoat on her fingers, so that, it can last". WRONG! Shortly after, we paid for the unsatisfied service, and left the shop. Later in the day/night, approx. 5.5 hours later, my GD takes a shower, and believe it or not the white polish from the tips on her fingernails all started to peel off. Obviously, I couldn't contact the nail shop at that moment, because they were closed, but contacted the business the following day- Sat. 8/9, right at opening hours. Before diving into my dilemma, I spoke to a nail tech asking a series of questions; one being how long does white tips last, if it is done with the white polish. I was told it did not last long, but at least 2 weeks. Shortly after, I spoke about my issue of what occurred with my GD. Immediately, the nail tech placed the person on the phone who serviced my GD. Immediately, she started saying things (basically lies), which were NEVER discussed with me! Stated she tried to tell me the white tip wouldn't last long, she didn't charge me $35, but only charged me $32, (as if $3 is a huge difference)-just a bunch of crazy talk. Mind you $32 for her fingernails; $42 for pedi. I politely requested for a refund; just for the mani, as the serv. provided was beyond RIDICULOUS AND UNSATISFACTORY. Not to mention, I had already came to the nail shop the day before, (for myself)- serviced by a different nail tech-paid a nice penny, and came back (the next day) to give them more service/money! Of course she wasn't able to rectify the situation, and stated she had to further discuss with the owner. Owner contacts me, about an hour later.I explained everything I mentioned earlier. Needless to say, he was NOT HELPFUL either. I hear him speaking with the NT (in their language), and then returns to the phone stating, "well she said she tried to explain to you the French manicure would not last, but you were on the phone". Again....ANOTHER LIE BY THIS WOMAN!!! She was seriously saying anything to avoid responsibility of her mistake. Owner basically stated they have a no refund policy, but will request the customer to come back and make it right;NO SIR I WILL NOT DO! I even try to explain to the owner, I will not have the time to bring my GD again, as she does not reside with me, and having her nails done was a back to school look for her. I just simply requested my money back for the manicure service only. The pedicure my GD received was okay, but the pink tips were starting to peel too, but not as bad as her fingernails. Unfortunately, by Sunday; 8/10, pretty much all the white polish from my GD's nails was gone, and she did not have an opportunity to enjoy pretty nails for her first day of school. All good CLUB NAILS...JUST KNOW....I WILL NEVER, NEVER RETURN TO YOUR BUSINESS!! And I highly advise anyone DO NOT take your business to Club Nails 1 or 2. I must also mention, I had been a long-term client at Club Nail 1 for quite some time. When I initially started going, I was seen by Vanessa. I must warn you; BE CAREFUL WITH VANESSA. I later learned she was overcharging me, and I stopped going to Vanessa. When I caught what she was doing, she tried to text me and offer $5 off my next visit. I was nice enough then; not to write a review. However, because the shop, is not too far from where I reside, I decided to still go to CN, but was able to go to a different nail tech, who seemed to be reasonable and do good work. Unfortunately, this person left the shop, and went to a different nail shop, which is why I stopped going to CN. I only returned to CN on 8/8, because my regular nail tech was out of town at the moment. CLUB NAILS...I do hope you all will improve and be honest with your customers! read more

Well, first time since I moved to Lexington, that I found a place to do my nails. I truly needed a pedicure and manicure. Moving all the way from the west coast, packing, unpacking, visitors, took a toll on my nails. Thought I picked a good one! Nope, the manicure I got, the nail polish started to peel away only after the second day! I paid good money (they are not inexpensive) to have it done. Anyhow, I had to wait 3 days more because I had company. How embarrassing. Went back, told them and showed them what happened, they didn't seem to surprised. Very upset with the services provided here today. I came in initially for a full set and a pedicure (for an adult) & 2 manicures & pedicures (for children). Upon entry I was told that they service children and was given an initial price. However, after just completing the pedicures my prices had drastically changed. Overall I paid $180 for to little girls and adult plan pedicures. NEVER AGAIN! Children should never be priced more than $40 a piece respectfully. They frequently increase their prices. I used to get SNS manicures here every 2 weeks and over the course of a couple months they kept raising it $5 every time I went in, which eventually equaled a $20 price increase in the service. I understand inflation and products cost more but they are higher priced than other salons in town. I could justify paying more if the quality was better, but I found my SNS nails to always be chipping and breaking within a week when I got them done here. Today I thought I would try them out again for a gel pedicure. Last year, their regular pedicure was around $30-$35 plus $20 for gel polish. Today when I went in they handed me the upgraded pedicure services and asked which pedicure I wanted. I said I just want the regular one I usually get and I don't want the upgrade ones on the sheet. They said the regular one is the $42 one and pointed to the one with added flowers they put in the water. I said I did not want the extras or the flowers and just wanted the regular basic pedicure. Again, I was told this flower pedicure is the regular basic pedicure. They ended up bringing out a tray of flowers that just sat on the floor and they did not even put them in the water. I ended up paying $62 before tip for a basic pedicure that lasted only 35 minutes. Other salons in Lexington charge around $50-55 for a gel pedicure. I will be going elsewhere next time. read more

The nail job here is horrible I got a pedicure and it looked like a thick glob of nail polish and it was not even at all. They don't clean around your toe nails. I paid $62 for a crappy job. Literally the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. When you tell them nicely so they can fix it all they say is "oh so sorry" and ignore you. Absolutely loved my experience here yesterday! They've done a lot of beautiful interior upgrades since my last visit a few years ago. My tech's name was Sam and he was a complete JOY to talk to! So much fun. We sang all the songs on their YouTube playlist, and he told me fun stories from back home in Cambodia and his travels across the U.S. One thing I don't like about this place is the way they 'seal' their SNS with a gel topcoat and LED treatment; I forgot to ask them not to do that. As a result, my nails feel 'soft' (like gel) instead of hard (like SNS). That aside, they are priced competitively and have a lot of techs working, so the wait isn't long when you walk-in. read more

Satchel is the best nail artist in Lexington, by a landslide! He does an incredible job and really takes his time to make sure your nails look exactly how you want them. If you are picky about the shape of your nails, he's your guy. For really long nails, it's tough to find someone that can find that perfect balance between durability and a delicate shape. I'm sooo clumsy and break my nails sometimes, but he does a great job at making them STRONG without sacrificing a pretty and feminine looking nail. I just moved back to Los Angeles and am going to have a hard time finding someone as good as Satchel, at least for the same price. The kind of work he does easily costs $300-$400 out here and appointments are much harder to get. Thank you Satchel for all the beautiful nails you did for me while I lived in Lexington!!! I had to wait about 1.5 hours but I waited patiently while they had my fingers soaking. I had SNS on. When they finally got to start they told me they were charging me $5 to soak off my nails in addition to what I was going to pay. I asked why as I never get charged that. She said that I had acrylics. I said no I did not, I have SNS. She then said she was going to charge me an additional fee to change from SNS to gel which makes no sense because you have to take both off? I picked my color and then was told the swatch ring of colors I had been looking at for the last 1.5hrs they no longer had (not sure why they gave it to me then) I had to try to quickly pick another color. She asked me impatiently What Color?! I finally just said gray without being able to look at anything and now my nails are black not gray! They cut my nails so short and two were cut so crooked that by the time they filed it they are nubs. I had an appointment at 4:30 and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to do my nails, I felt that the lady did my nails pretty fast since the moment I sat down. This was my first time getting my nails done since I just moved here from Chicago. The lady asked me how were the prices where I used to get my nails done maybe that's why she charged me 75$ for this set and removal and normally this costs me 55$. I even left a 10$ tip. I showed her a few designs and last she said "more work, more money". She used sns french tip for my white color nail and she was saying it was too sticky obviously because it's only meant for tips.. after all I do like my nails but the price was something I didn't like if I had added more designs then okay makes sense.. maybe I'll go back but with mr.
