This studio has literally been a lifesaver for me. They are so warm, friendly and encouraging no matter your age or shape of your body. When I lost my husband a few years ago I decided it was time to spend some time on something valuable for me. I found Club Pilates and have been a member ever since! As a former ballerina (a long time ago) the training brought back memories of dance. I'm almost 66 years old but when I walk in that studio, I feel like a young girl all over again. I am 77 and have been a faithful member for 5 years and just earned the 750 mark for attending that many classes. The instructors are so caring and knowledgeable. Everyone is friendly and take an interest in your overall health. If a certain exercise is difficult, they will show you how to modify or adjust the exercise. It so much fun that you don't even feel like it is taxing. The benefits of a strong core prepare you to withstand any type of body trauma and really makes you feel younger. I've been a part of the Club Pilates family for years! The Staff members Meghan, Kristen and Mary are always so nice and professional and the Instructors are top notch. You can't find a better place for the most comprehensive full body work out experience! The lessons are so fun and everyone always walks out with a smile on their face. I am always having joint and back issues due to lots of sitting and driving. I can say that I hardly have pain because all the moves and exercises have helped me so much! My husband saw how much the classes benefited me so he joined too and loves it! We try to do at least one class together every week. All the instructors are great but one standout is Hayley! Every class she teaches is different so you will always be challenged. I have taken private classes with her as well, which were extremely helpful. Hayley is always positive, encouraging, kind and caring. I highly recommend "Hayley" with 2 "y"s. If you are just starting pilates, this is not the place for you. I did and want to share the following: 1) Issues getting a class. The studio is too small and cannot accomodate more than 12 students. 2) Too few beginner classes (called CP Reformer Flow 1). This makes it even harder to take a class and the wait list is ridiculously long. 3) Must book class way in advance (usually 1-2 weeks) to actually get in. 4) Minimum 3 month membership. This means if you don't like pilates or get frustrated with this studio in not getting into a class, you will pay a minimum of $687 ($229*3) for the 8 session/month membership. I hope this review helps save the frustration and lost money for someone else. read more

We are all on our own independent fitness journeys and many of us are on paths towards recovery from injuries of some sort. Club Pilates, San Clemente has blessed and empowered me. The club keeps me physically and mentally fit through positive reinforcement and random kindness. I am very glad I joined. Since fitness can be a delicate commitment with no room for variations, I recommend, the unlimited membership 2 ensure your space in class is reserved. I've been a member for about a year and a half and have enjoyed it up until recently. Morning classes are a nightmare to get into. If you workout in the afternoon you should be good here, but if you work out in the morning, be prepared to be on endless waitlists which are harder and harder to get into classes. I was just 8 out of 11on the wait list (for over 2 weeks waiting for this class) and there are 12 reformers. Do the math! Odds not in your favor. They only allow you to book 10 classes at a time. So if you want to work out more than a few days a week it is an issue for the morning classes now which book out 2-4 weeks in advance. If I didn't buy an annual membership, I would leave this facility. I'm now only working out 2-3 days a week instead of 4 since the classes are so hard to get into in the morning when I am able to come in. I really don't know how they can solve the issue other than being honest about how busy the mornings are and discouraging people from joining if that's the only time they can come in. Since we know they won't do that, I'm posting here so people understand the reality there. read more

Love Club Pilates, San Clemente! I've been there since they opened in Talega almost 2 years ago. It's clean, airy and has a welcoming vibe. The staff and instructors are exceptional and really care. They are always open to feedback of any kind and really listen. I attend 6 days a week, It's my home away from home! It truly feels like family when I enter through the door. They also offer a wide variety of awesome classes for all fitness levels and always offer modifications for injuries and such, very knowledgeable. I also love how they are open 7 days a week. I began a membership hoping to help my hips- after just 8 classes I was told by my Dr I needed to stop and have my hips replaced due to hip dysplasia. The club policies and The club manager would not work with me on the billing, they billed me for 2 months that I was unable to use- I found Kaitlyn-manager, to be very unhelpful. Be careful on their policies- the teachers were great but the policies are not customer friendly- desperate in my opinion and work against making me want to be there. I'm just weeks away from being released from my Dr to begin classes again. read more

First it's too hard to pick one Instructor,Shelby is great because of her experience and type of class utilizing the trigger ball and roller for our bodies to release. Chuck is fun, precise, and all around a great tone n stretch instructor; Mary, Alison and Hayley pushes one in a different way. All classes are different endings g what one needs. The San Clemente studio is wonderful. For those who are COVID concerned; all reformers are spaced, masks are welcome, patrons sanitize hands before and after class, reformers are thoroughly cleaned after every class and the air is purified with a Ground Zero medical unit. Entrance into the studio is staggered. Friendly: It feels like a Cheers where they all know your name from the front desk to the instructors. I so love Club Pilates San Clemente! I began about a year ago as a pilates newbie...so I started very hesitantly, as I'm in my mid 60's. However, as I began practicing regularly, I noticed that I had MUCH greater flexibility and strength. The members and staff are so friendly and welcoming at this studio. When I began, I just purchased a few classes at a time, so it was rather pricey. However, the instructors are SO knowledgeable...they even have a physical therapist that teaches classes. Their skill and guidance makes the cost well worth it! Anyway, after a couple of months, I bought an unlimited annual membership. It's much more reasonable in terms of price and it makes reserving classes much easier (because I can reserve 15 classes at a time). Btw, I I had a couple of months when I had some back problems from gardening and was unable to exercise, and they were very accommodating. They allowed me the extra time I missed to be added to my membership. One piece of advice, if you're new to pilates, I highly recommend taking a couple of private sessions when you start to be sure your form is correct, and to get hints about how to move more effectively and safely. Of course, this is more expensive than group classes, but so worth it to avoid injuries...and they often run specials on private sessions. In conclusion, if you're considering pilates, check out this studio with such a pleasant vibe and very well-trained instructors; you won't regret it! read more

I was a member at Orange Theory for over 8 years and I truly loved it . A friend recommended Club Pilates and I did a trial class and fell in love with it. I joined and noticed after a few months, my legs were much more toned than with OT, so I dropped Orange Theory and upped my membership to unlimited. The teachers are AMAZING and the management is so friendly and accommodating. I have a very complicated schedule as I spend half my time in Florida and the other half in Dana Point and the staff here worked with me to find a membership that could work with my crazy schedule. I cannot recommend Pilates highly enough, especially Club Pilates San Clemente. read more
