Our family celebrate the 2016 New Year's Eve Event/Reveillon at the Clube Naval de Brasilia. It is a large Country Club by the lake with ample parking. We were one of the multi-generational families in attendance--5 years old to 80 years old. We bought a table and enjoyed the beautiful decorated event. The food was good--although not amazing--and the Band Rio Fantasia was far better than we could have expected. All of us ate well, danced, and enjoyed watching the fire works. We felt very safe. As a bonus, they had an large room for kids to play and even had beds for kids to sleep. Our son did not speak Portuguese, so he played a little but spend the rest of the night with us. Our 13 year old, danced the night away--as she'd never be able to attend a New Year's Eve Party like this in the USA--which are for adults only. We had a nice time and would be happy to return when visiting Brasilia. read more
