Booth and high top seating were considered "VIP" We went back and forth about purchasing a vip table but it was unclear which tables would be considered vip at time of purchase. It was all very confusing, as ppl came in they were not asked if they'd paid for selected tables, we saw groups being sat and re-sat multiple times due to confusion. I would suggest charging a small fee per head and allowing seating to be 1st come1st serve or keeping the comedy show free for all. They charge an automatic 20% gratuity, we notice many places in the city who do this do not always value service, this was no exception. We got check-ins to see if we were ready to purchase, no special attention or personality from the server. After VIP seating, and automatic 20% gratuity, there's 30.oo per person minimum. The menu did not excite us and neither did the plates of food that we saw coming out around us, so we decided to limit our order to drinks. Drinks were terrible. Seemed watered down, gave all of us headaches so we assumed it wasn't the named liquor we ordered and possibly well liquor they sold. No proof but if you have a favorite drink you can tell with taste and how your body reacts if you are not given what you are used to drinking. The comedy show was fun. The guy @thesecretgenius was funny af. The host was cheerful the event was cool but I wouldn't return. Reservation process was straight forward online. I was with a party of 6. We were met with a valet only paying option at $10 each. Since we arrived at opening (11am) for brunch, it wasn't too crowded. The r&b was a little loud for conversation but unfortunately it got louder during our meal once the DJ arrived. The menu available online was not quite the same as the one presented at the restaurant so be warned. The cocktails were tasty and most had fruity offerings. Made an 8pm reservation for Saturday night. Arrived to mandatory $10 "valet" parking. In my opinion, the lot is way too small to even warrant valet parking. They should advertise this as paid parking. But honestly, they would attract more people by not charging, or charging around $2 or $3 for parking. We started with the calamari which visibly looked hard, but once biting into it was tender and crunchy with and a spicy kick. We ordered the Seabass, which came with some delicious Mexican corn. The Seabass was cooked to perfection and had great seasoning. We also ordered Cajun chicken pasta which was creamy cheesy goodness topped with tender juicy grilled chicken. the pasta with chicken and the pasta had the right amount of spice topped with juicy tender chicken. My first and last time going. Went to the restaurant on a Sunday (brunch-time) through birthday invitation. I asked my friend have you ate here before they said "NO , they found it on TikTok" . I brought it to my rude waitress attention and she said all they can do is bring another piece of meat to balance out what I didn't receive; so I told her chicken wing because I got the last of the lambs . So now I feel like y'all gave me scraps and could've told me another option before ordering lambs . I just said in my mind whatever I'll charge it to the game . The service was terrible. It was obvious that gratuity was included in the bill and there was no incentive to give good service. It took us 20 mins to get 2 glasses of mimosas and the waitress still forgot a drink. This was a non busy time which was disappointing. After receiving all the drinks, it took another 40 mins to get our food which we only received half of our order. Then took another 20 mins to receive the rest of our order and it was cold. We had to ask multiple times for condiments (ordered French toast and pancakes. We had to ask three times before getting syrup and butter). The waitress never checked on our table, we had to go find her and we never received water refills nor did she check if we wanted to order more drinks. The menu was incorrect, the fish and grits said cod but the waitress told us it was changed to catfish 2 weeks ago.... Love the ambiance and the DJ was great but that is it. When I asked her to correct my check she only corrected my friends check and not mine. When I mentioned to her that she didn't correct mine she got an attitude. Then I see the menu. Their menu is made for children. Chicken tenders, wings, fries, sloppy joes... all sloppily prepared and presented with the most expensive item being 20 count wings for $25... it was obvious to me that they wanted to push their profit margins to the scam alcoholic drinks. The food was over-seasoned and barely palatable. This place pretends to be a nice establishment but serves cafeteria food and waters down their alcohol so bad, you might be surprised to learn that its on the alcohol menu. In summary: AVOID AT ALL COST. This place really deserves negative stars. One star is too many... Mandatory $45 per person my butt. Another 20 mins goes by I get the missing item, it was all very mediocre I could've made it all at home for the time I wasted eating a meal with a dry mouth. Still no water, no drinks. Our waitress is moving back & forth behind the bar (still doesn't make any sense how we have no drinks). After 20 mins we flag her down ask for the check & I ask for water AGAIN. She brings the checks after another 20 minutes & a water in a to go cup. I will not be returning here, but maybe if you sit at the bar you'll get better service. My husband and I were looking for a great place with good food for a Saturday night date. We came across Clutch. This experience was AMAZING !!! from the moment you walk in the door, to the service, to the time valet brings you your car. Sometimes you come to these places, and you are treated like you are bothering the staff, this place was warm, and you felt good. Our server was DESHIA. She was fantastic throughout the night. She checked on us and had such a great energy. On top of being beautiful her spirit was genuine. I would come back just for her. Please treat her great we need more people like her in the world.
