I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Vet Oscar, and I must say it was one of the most disappointing and frustrating encounters I've ever had with a healthcare professional.
My dog had been suffering from a persistent sin issue, and I turned to Vet Oscar for help. From the very beginning, his attitude left much to be desired. He came across as dismissive and disinterested in my concerns about my dog's health. His lack of empathy was evident right away, and it only got worse as our interactions continued.
What's even more concerning is that Vet Oscar prescribed antibiotics for my dog without conducting the appropriate tests to identify the root cause of the problem. For months, my poor dog was subjected to a regimen of antibiotics that were ultimately ineffective because the particular bacteria causing the issue was knowingly resistant to this antibiotic that he insisted she take for very prolonged periods. Not only was this ineffective treatment expensive, but it also caused harm by lowering my dog's immune system.
I tried to engage in a conversation with Vet Oscar about the need for further diagnostics and a more comprehensive approach to my dog's care, but he continued to be rude and dismissive. It was clear that he was more interested in rushing through appointments than actually addressing the health and well-being of his patients.
I cannot emphasize enough how important it is for a vet to not only possess the necessary medical knowledge but also to have empathy and communication skills to work effectively with pet owners. In this regard, Vet Oscar fell far short of the mark.
My experience with Vet Oscar was incredibly frustrating, costly, and ultimately detrimental to my dog's health. I strongly advise pet owners to consider other options and seek out a veterinarian who genuinely cares about the well-being of their furry patients and is willing to take the time to provide proper care and attention. Vet Oscar's poor attitude, lack of empathy, and inappropriate treatment approach should serve as a warning to anyone seeking quality veterinary care for their beloved pets. read more
