BTW- the scope of work was tree cutting and stump grinding. Here's why I decided to go with KnowTrees: 1. This company had the most consistent highest ratings across all of the sites. Many of the reviews were recent and from a wide range of individuals. BTW - YELP is hiding many of the 5 star review from many other customers. If you scroll to the bottom of the review, you can see the hidden reviews. 2. The owner, Matthew, is fantastic. 3. Most importantly to me.....the PRICE. His bid was very competitive and reasonable. Here's why I'm glad I used KnowTrees: 1. Great communication leading up to the work. 2. The crew very professional. 3. The work was done efficiently and carefully. 4. Clean up was fab. Over a six-month…read moreperiod, Good Shepherd came to my home at least eight times to try to fix recurring problems with the gutters they installed: * Improperly installed drip edge (multiple times) * Gutters not draining; leaking against fascia * Gutters frequently overflowing * Gutters visibly scratched and dented * Gutters installed crooked; shingles not re-aligned correctly They replaced the front gutter three times, and it's still not functioning properly. As I write this, it's raining ... and water is gushing over the edge. That never happened with my old system. I'm now forced to hire a reputable installer to start over. Despite repeated assurances, the manager never came to assess the work himself ... only sent different crew members, none of whom resolved the issues. That kind of hands-off leadership speaks volumes. I gave them every opportunity to make this right. They didn't.
