A useful Co-Op location, which is basically the mid-point between the Regent Retail Park (which has a large Sainsbury's) and Manchester city centre, it's in a good location serving Middlewood Locks and Salford Central railway station.
The overall store was spacious and modern, although I did find the selection in some areas was poorer than other Co-Op stores, for example, the fresh fruit and vegetable range was small, and didn't include mashed potato, the same could be said for the to-go food and beverage range, while they had a coffee machine provided by Seattle's Best Coffee, this is the first Co-Op I've ever visited which didn't have Lipton Ice Tea.
The product range in other areas was okay, they did have a small range of free-from products as well as a small frozen and toiletries selection.
The store looks and feels new, and it is one of the newer Co-Op locations in the city as it opened in 2019. They did have large empty fridge space, so hopefully, they'll expand some of their ranges as it just said "Coming Soon"
3* - The product range could be better, but this is one of the more spacious Co-Op's in the city centre and has a nice feel to it. read more
