It's probably best to steer clear of clothes, utensils etc, but they do do some brand food that is cheaper than in the supermarkets, and also shampoo and other cleaning materials. Both for personal hygene and the cleanliness of your home. I have probably saved a fortune in the time I have been going here by purchasing these goods here instead of paying full whack. The shop itself is usually very busy and you can be expected to queue to pay for your cheap purchases. The store is fairly well stocked and there are plenty of staff on show re-filling the shelves. The best bit, if you ask me, is that it is easy to add up how much your shopping comes to!

They always seem to be sweeping or cleaning the floors and rubbish is not left unnoticed for long. It will be a challenge for people with pushchairs or in wheelchairs though as the aisles are extremely narrow, if two people are going in opposite directions it is a case of turn to the side and breathe in! It has some offside parking outside which normally has some spaces and a bus stop opposite to get you into Bitterne or Southampton central. As with many Co-op's it has regular offers - there are always offers on alcohol and often cereals , biscuits , sweets and sauces are half price or buy one get one free. This makes some products cheaper than large supermarkets

Really good service. The jackets were ok in size, however went for the largest available. They have glitter on them, beware the glitter goes everywhere! Also they were from the official Grease Merchandise.
