Actually three stars is considered a positive review and not a negative one at all. I love to support local Gaffney, S.C. places of business! My evaluation of your fine store is that it's a mixture of boutique and shoe repair. Only my opinion; but this doesn't address a tremendous need in downtown. If a man or lady wants to purchase everyday footwear, they mostly have to go Walmart, Shoe Show, or to Bargain Shoes. If you could carry a good selection of Skechers or complete line of tennis shoes and advertise them at somewhat competitive prices, I believe along with your current offerings, you'd have a big winner! I'd be a customer myself as I'd much prefer to buy from independents than chain stores. One big advantage that you already have is the avoidance of congested traffic such as is found at the previously mentioned stores! It's not meant to be derogatory but as a compliment! The shoe section is huge! And I do mean huge! I went here today in the hopes of finding a really nice pair. To my dismay; I couldn't find what I was looking for. Back in the day it was very common to locate a pair or two or more of the Bostonian brand. Not any more! As a matter of fact I purchased a pair back in the late 1970's. It was my first introduction to Bostonian; and I loved them!I think they were 25.00 dollars at the time. Back then there was also a couple of department store's on Main Street in Gaffney. They sold Bostonian shoes for 100.00 a pair! That was a lot of money then!When Walmart came here; Main Street shutdown rapidly! No department stores or anything related survived. Guess what? Bargain Shoes survived; but they had to relocate away from Walmart! I was a bit disappointed in my trip here today as I didn't recognize any brand names in the shoes. They all seemed generic. I still would have bought a pair but nothing felt good on my feet! As you can see in my pictures Bargain Shoes stocks a little bit of every kind of clothing! I still suggest that this is a good place to shop for bargains!

A lot of their store is on sale/clearance, and they will stack discounts!
