I hired Coachella Valley Collections to collect on a civil case and they have not followed up in years. They also force you to sign the collection contract to last decades so they are the only people who can collect on the judgement now. This company is very unethical and tired to collect a bill that we did not owe and then affect our credit rating. They would not listen and yelled and were very aggressive. The bill was from their neighbor "The Bug Guys' who trespassed on our former property that was sold and empty(sale sign posted on front lawn) and then tried to bill us for the service. April, 2019 - After consulting legal advice, I learned that there was no way to obtain justice on this, that the garnishment can only be stopped by filing bankruptcy. I unfortunately choose Maximum Security in 2011 to put a system in my home & a business that I was managing. I had to leave the area & called them numerous times to remove their equipment. They scheduled three appointments with me and never showed up. I moved out of the area & this miserable company sent me to a collection agency, I had talked with them to no avail. I sent certified letters to all three credit agency's as well as Coachella Collections. I have recently become aware of the fact that this is still on my credit report, these dirt bags continue to report this after seven years. I again have tried talking with them & the dirt bags at Coachella Collections again to no avail! The state of calif has laws that state any debt valid or not be removed after seven years. Neither of these companies seem to care about that & have been extremely rude Coachella Valley Collections were extremely rude & claim they can do nothing! These people lecture the caller on how to pay bills. Then when you ask for assistance they go through your credit report and tell you how worthless you are. I think this place should be closed down. They obviously are insignificant and worthless less than humans. I see the other reviews & it shows how pathetic they are. I don't understand how they get a garnishment from your check without notifying you. They take the absolute most they can take. I believe they couldn't make it in the real world so they get on the phone and try their best to pretend they are great--they pay all their bills, they would never be behind in any portion of their life. read more

Here is the current address and phone given for this business; 75108 Gerald Ford Dr # 1, Palm Desert, CA 92211 (760) 346-7458. However, they also list an address on San Pablo in Palm Desert. The person in charge seems to be Brandon Fernandez. Granted, my claim is a small one, but that is still no excuse for the shoddy and unprofessional manner in which I was treated by this company. And, such companies wonder why people do not like them, no matter what end of the proceedings they are on. I spoke to Mr. Fernandez on the phone, filled him in a bit on my claim and requested that his company assist me in recovering my money. He agreed. He emailed me some information and some forms to fill out to get things started. I was not able to use these in the format in which I received them, so I emailed him back, informed him of this and requested that he please send them to me by U.S. mail. I received no response and no paperwork. I waited about ten days and called his office. The first time I phoned, his name was on their phone menu. The next time I called, it was not. Also, if you do not know your way around their rather customer UNfriendly phone menu, their system simply cuts you off. I finally was able to speak to a person. I explained everything to her, since he was "out in the field" and unavailable to speak. She took down my name, phone number and address once again, and told me she would have him call me back the next morning. Well, that morning came and went. I just finished sending him yet another email explaining all of this, AGAIN, and simply asking that he either send me the requested paperwork, return my email or my calls or be professional and let me know if he does not want my business, so I can move on to another company, which I will do in any case if I do not hear or receive anything from him by the end of this coming week. So far, I cannot recommend this company and am finding it elusive, unprofessional and downright rude, perhaps unintentionally, but rude nonetheless. Well, I finally received a call and, then, the paperwork, which included their contract. The voluminous contract included a clause stating that they were not responsible for anything, among many others, all in their favor and not much protecting the client. I do not think I will be signing such a contract. It's ludicrous. I have since moved on to a much more courteous and professional collection agency. I have also, as of late, recalled that Coachella Valley Collection Service handled a collection for a lawyer and my former landlord. When I went in to ask for some very straight forward and simple information, I was shocked to be treated harshly and rudely and with suspicion for no reason other than their paranoia. The question is for what reason do they need to be paranoid and suspicious? It is my experience that companies with confused addresses are actually the ones of which to be suspicious and wary. These people have harassed me to the ends of the earth for a debt I do not owe! I had a credit card paid off from a home refinance in 2005! In 2007, I'm suddenly notified of a default judgment when I went to renew my drivers license. From there, they have tried to garnish wages, Levy bank accounts, seize assets from my bank deposit box, they hired a PI to snoop around my business and look for "assets" to seize and now, they have racked up $11,000 of bogus charges through court actions and levy attempts. Now, they have liened my home! I was never served, and legitimately do not owe the money but the bank that was paid off years ago was acquired and no longer exists. No one has ever proven my debt and they continue to drag me to court ( on New Years Eve at 8 am in a county three hours away from me!) every seven years to keep the charges rolling along. They' re horrible and as soon as I can, I will be suing their ass for as much as I can get. read more

These people are worthless. They've had my judgement for 4 years now without even calling me regarding the account. I've never seen a dime. I even gave them all the information they needed on where the person worked, how much they earned, even had payroll records and contact names. Did all of their work for them and still nothing. I wouldn't put it past them to collect and pocket the money. When signing you up they are friendly and courteous but ask about your account after the contract is signed and the owner turns into an obnoxious ass. Never again. read more
