My experience with coaching with Brooke was underwhelming. Firstly, I thought she'd be the one coaching me. I didn't realize I'd be matched with one of her colleagues. The coach I was paired with was super sweet, and a good person- but she was not the kind of coach I needed or was looking for. She lacked experience, so it's not really her fault. The course was just really expensive and I definitely didn't gain anything from the experience. Was overpriced, overhyped, and upsetting to be quite honest. Where to begin on how awesome this has been....! Using Brooke's coaching services has greatly improved my life. My partner and I are both clients and working with the coaches plus all the programs that they offer have been life changing. We are in our mid/late 30's and have had plenty of therapy, read books, the whole 9 yards, however despite this, most medical providers as well meaningful as they are, they just don't haver extensive knowledge in ADHD. All of her coaches are prepared and educated, also well versed on what the symptoms are, and it's truly empowering to have someone recognize these with you and give you insight on HOW to improve your executive function skills. On top of that, Brooke is knowledgeable in business so not only has this improved my personal life, but it has helped tremendously in my business and professional life. All of her coaches truly care, you aren't just a number, they invest their time, knowledge and love in you. Brooke also has groups, and weekly calls. I am not the type to attend these kinds of things but now I look forward to the calls weekly, she has a pretty cool group of clients so calls are helpful and interesting. It's helped me come out of my anti-social post covid shell and learn a ton. The way they handle the business side of things is also very honest and easy to navigate. I changed coaches after a few sessions solely because I realized that it wasn't what I was looking for, but it was a personal preference not a reflection of that coach's ability or knowledge. Once I switched I found the perfect fit and I appreciate that they VERY patiently worked with me until I had found what I was looking for. We couldn't be happier and we are very grateful for the support and love we have received. When I was feeling incredibly overwhelmed with my diagnosis and how it was affecting the different areas of my life, I knew I needed help. While working with Brooke, I learned skills for how to many my symptoms and work with my ADHD and not against it. I learned to manage my expectations of my tasks and to not get as frustrated when I made mistakes but to plan for them and take action. Brooke introduced me to a community that has similar struggles and we were able to learn from each other. Even Now that we have wrapped up coaching, Brooke is who I reach out to when I have a successful milestone. I'm learning more about women in the ADHD community and many do not receive a diagnose until adulthood, meaning missing out on valuable skill building in school. If anyone is struggling with the skills to manage their ADHD, Brooke is one of the greatest resources available. I have known Brooke for many years as a colleague and friend. Her work with children is amazing but I have also seen her be a leader among adults. As an individual who was diagnosed at the age of 5 with executive functioning disorder and then adhd I know the struggles that come with the disability and how they translate into adulthood. I only wish that a service like Brooke's existed in my area. I can't think of anyone more patient or organized to help people like myself succeed. In working with Brooke she was always understanding of my disability and encouraged me to go further. I reached out to Brooke for help after an absolutely brutal first semester in college. With my combination of ADHD, poor time management skills, and a bogus organizational system, I hit rock bottom, and was told I would be asked to leave my honors program at school if I didn't get my act together. Brooke continuously helped me by brainstorming some unique strategies that would help me focus on my work, and kept me accountable with the daily and long-term goals that I had set up with her. I met with her once a week for long meetings, but could text her literally whenever I had an issue and she responded super quick with helpful tips.
