No arguments with the bus service as such, or even the ugly red colour of the buses themselves, but some individual bad experiences.
Chiefly, one of the drivers nudged my Dads car some years ago and denied responsibility. It was resolved though, I should add.
I also didn't like their initial tactic of pulling in on front of other buses to steal their customers which they did efficiently with the use of walkie talkies.
I also made a passing comment at a bus stop to a woman about how I didn't like Coakley buses because of these things who informed me that 'it's just good business', revealing herself to be Mr. Coakley's sister in law or something.
Her initial comment to my remark on not liking Coakley buses was 'Is it because he is Catholic?' as if my decision on what bus to get on for a 5 minute journey is in some way influenced by a search on the religion of a companies staff, going on to tell me about all the money the main dude gives to charity every year.
It was obscure.
Suffice to say, I waited on the next bus, which wasn't a Coakley one. read more
