Coastal Garage Door picked up the phone right away, provided a ball park price, and came over to look at the job the next day as our door may have needed special springs due to the height and width. The owner, John, verified with the manufacturer that the springs he had in stock would be acceptable. The project was completed during this visit for the price that he originally quoted. In addition, he lubricated all of the moving parts on the door and track and adjusted the pressure on the opener. While down visiting my 89 year old father in Toms River, I decided to check on businesses in the area that repair garage door openers. My Dad's opener was giving him problems to the point he was using a rake to adjust handle on door opener to manually use it. (He of course insisted there was nothing wrong with door, and could continue doing what he had been for past couple months) I called Coastal expecting to set up appointment for estimate either later in the day or next time I was down visiting. When John from Coastal answered the phone and I described the situation, he said he was on another job in the area and could be by in an hour to check on our door. Well he did come by in an hour, and an additional 45 minutes later, we had a brand new garage door opener installed.
