Gorgeous little rooftop terrazza with a bar and seating inside (does get a bit warm inside due to the cooking) nice staff and good music selection in the background. Had one dish, the shrimp which were over salted seemingly by mistake but were removed from our bill, but otherwise the food was Incredible, had the best scallops of my life in the form of a ceviche over buttery salted naan and then followed by the best octopus of my life, so welll cooked and prepared. We didn't have time for dessert before we had to rush to an event but would have loved to try

On our last night in Oaxaca, we looked for something different to eat besides mole. I found Cobarde and its fusion style to be intriguing, so we walked down to the city center to try it out. We got there pretty late, some time between 8 and 9 PM. We were asked a few times about allergies, both from the host and the server, which was really nice. The owner also came around a few times and chatted with us. Basically, for me, this was a yuzu fest in a good way. We were not too hungry and it was late, but we wanted to try some small plates. Eric R. ordered the roasted chicken pho, and I ordered the toasted naan with lengua. The lengua was sliced thin and cooked with a lot of flavor. The naan had a yuzu cream and a lot of herbs on top. Eric R.'s soup came with two tandoor naan with ghee and salt on the side, and it was also very delicious with a different texture than the toasted naan. It was so good the owner brought us two more on the house. I had a house beer, a rice lager, that was very suave! My second drink was the inari cocktail, with sake, yuzu juice, honey, sesame oil, and shiso. I had never had a drink with sesame oil before but the combination of these ingredients just worked! For dessert, I ordered the floating islands. It was a coconut milk softened meringue topped with crunchy meringue sticks in black tea powder on top of yuzu curd in a matcha sauce. Basically, Eric R. said the cocktail, toasted naan with lengua, and dessert "screamed Lisa." A lot of my favorite things were part of this meal, and the environment was very nice in the restaurant. The bathroom is really cool - it has a garden with an open air roof! Buen provecho!

Wow! Stumbled upon this place and couldn't be happier. This spot is very modern with a beautiful rooftop terrace. The dishes are incredibly unique for Oaxaca with Asian and Italian influences. The cauliflower, gnudi, naan, and cacio e pepe udon were all wonderful.

Just a few blocks past the town square lies this beautiful and quaint rooftop restaurant with amazing fusion cuisine. The waiters were friendly, informative, and the dishes I ordered were amazing. I ordered the ceviche accompanied by a side of naan bread and the chicken dumplings.

I thought it was funny when I got the menu and the food menu was only one page while the drink menu was five pages. The outside of the restaurant is blue-ish and the restaurant has multiple rooms. The ceviche del dia ($190 MXN) was a little sweet and not as tart or sour as others I've had. The tacos de sirloin ($170) were really good and were our group's favorite. The taquitos dorados de mole negro ($140) were okay; there was no meat just in case you were wondering. The aguachile rojo de camaron ($190) were good. The esquite con tuetano ($100) was not like a typical corn in a cup but it was closer to a corn soup. For drinks I had the pequeño gigante ($210) which was good. The paloma madura and paloma margarita were both favorites among our group. We went during the day and it wasn't that busy but supposedly it gets way busier and livelier at night.

We were able to get a seat right away and the servers were super helpful. My friend wanted to try some mezcal and they let us taste a couple before choosing. We sat at the restaurant instead of the bar because it was cuter and I wanted food too. I tried two of their fruity mezcal drinks and loved both. I forget the names but one had watermelon, and the other had coconut and lime. I ordered cheese stuffed plantains with mole and this was soooo good. It was very filling too!

When we arrived, they had our reservation at the place was so nice. They even had live music at one point but not loud very nice music. They had a great selection of drinks and wine so you couldn't go wrong there. We got a variety of plates. I got the steak which was phenomenal. It literally was like butter. My aunt got the mole and I have to say that was delicious. We also actually started with a beat and goat fluff cheese, which was amazing. Definitely must have. We also got a shrimp taco, which was phenomenal. For a drink I got a carajillo which is one of my favorite things to drink when I'm in Mexico. Overall, great experience here everything was beautiful and great presentation and very well served. Definitely booked this restaurant when you are in the city.
