People like a AShey the greeter that helps you with a kiosk to select what kind of services you're therefore, and Paxtynn is one of the friendliest and helpful customer service that is behind the counter that helps you with your service needed. Cobb County Tag office is a convenient operation located on Austell Rd. The office hours are 8am to 5pm. If you get here around the 7:30am make sure you walk into the building out of the rain and cold. The building is open and you are invited to come inside out of the cold. The office inside opens promptly at 8am and there is generally an advisor at the front entrance to direct you to the appropriate window. This business is well organized and designed to get you in and out quickly. There is a machine in the lobby for self service on renewals.

Adulting can be boring...and tedious...and require lots of time in a waiting room. Coming to the tag office, safe to say, isn't anyone's favorite activity. That being said, these folks were able to provide a 5 star experience for me recently! First of all, Yolanda! Oh, Yolanda! Bless her. She manages the waiting room crowd, and on this particular Monday afternoon...she had her hands full. She greeted me upon arrival and asked what I was visiting for today. I told her what I was up to, confirmed I had all of the required documents, then she checked into a kiosk so I could get my number. I grabbed my number and took a seat. The waiting room is nothing to write home about, but they have screens with news/pop culture/ads displayed along with the ticker of numbers being served. They announce the new numbers via the overhead and Yolanda will double-check that folks outside of the waiting room hear so they don't get skipped (what an angel). Yolanda regularly announces reminders like "make sure you have your drivers license" or "if you're here for a tag renewal you can use the self service kiosk". She had to deal with some grumpy pants (don't be that guy, ugh) but she stayed professional, helpful and understanding. My visit was on a Monday at 4pm. Not my best decision, but whatever I needed to get it done. I think this is likely the busiest day/hour to visit. It was packeddd. I was at the window getting serviced at 5pm, but Yolanda announced that everyone who had a number would get serviced (i.e. the staff stays until the waiting room is cleared). However, I was in and out in a hour and the service provided by my clear, Eulanda (spellcheck) was matched to waiting room Yolanda's friendliness. Overall a 5 star experience for me! read more

Now you may think that is a long time but for the middle of lunch on a Friday I call that excellent! No issues from the time I walked in to the time I left. These folks are still knocking it out of the park! 3:57 - I pull into the parking lot - no parking available up front, but plenty of parking on the side 4:02 - I enter the building and approach the kiosk to check in. A lovely and helpful govt worker intercepts me and asks me if I need assistance / what I'm here for. I tell her tag renewal / decal. She selects the options on the kiosk for me and explains to me that she can escort me over to the automated machine in the lobby if I'd like to avoid the wait. She explains that it's simple, quick and there's a $3.00 surcharge. I look at the mounted monitors and look at my number. It's clear that I only have 2 people ahead of me - lol - so I decline. 4:05 - My number is called. The clerk is sweet and funny. And EFFICIENT. 4:11 - I'm in my car heading on to my next errand. Go to another location! Upon arrival they ask for your cell number so they can text you when it's your turn. I waited an hour and a half after the text saying it was my turn. When I finally reached the ticket window, they advised I needed my wife's signature. I had already called and was told all I would need was her drivers license, which I had. Since when can't a spouse register his legally married wife's vehicle for her so that she doesn't have to endure the horrendous wait times? In addition, on the phone I was told the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Tag would be one price when in reality it's hundreds more. Undertrained and understaffed! read more

The lady at window 6 is the worst I've had help from others and they're great but if the lady at window 6 was a complete bitch, not helpful at all. Go to another office and try I did and was helped. read more

I decided to come to the tag office to renew my tags via the kiosk. It was supposed to be so convenient. Well, it wasn't. The kiosk couldn't find my information using any of their options including their bar code they sent. I ended up driving back home and mailing it off. What a waste of time. read more

As good as can be expected for a tag office. Team is super friendly and helpful. The only feedback I can give here is that when the room is full of customers (only standing space available) every window should have a representative working the queue. Clearing the room and offering exceptional customer service should be the first priority. They are very close to nailing it! Keep up the good work. read more

I'm not sure what Kenny Kelly's job title is but he is AMAZING at his job! Every time I go there he is reminding people to stay off their phones and pay attention to the screen to watch for your number, he also lets everyone know that they will call your number, if you don't go up to the counter they will skip your number. I like this because every tag office I go to I always sit there and wait and wait because someone is on their phone not paying attention. The service is awesome at this location. Getting your car tags renewed here is super quick. Take a number, sit down, and within minutes you are helped! I've been coming here for years and will only come here. The other locations in Marietta takes a very long time and you can sometimes wait a very long time! Not only is the service quick, but the employees here are friendly here as well. read more

First and foremost the woman who greets you is so friendly and patient. I mean we all kind of dread coming here. She makes the experience easy and light. This is my first time getting tabs and plates in Atlanta so there was slight confusion but she was so patient and walks you through the machine selection to obtain your ticket number. I had a few hiccups as some things are slightly different then back home. A few too many, to the point I made about 3 trips to this office for proper paper work and things. Each time she remembered me which was endearing and or embarrassing because I mean it shouldn't have taken me 3 trips . The rest of the staff behind the glass are also thorough and kind. As I said it took me a few tries. They also remembered me and made sure I got it right the final time. The wait times for me were between 2-10mins for each visit which it's fantastic in my book. The system they have really gets customers in and out in a timely fashion. There's plenty of parking, the staff are great despite an Atmosphere that could likely be hostel/aggravating from time to time. I have no complaints. They were so great in my opinion after my first attempt I decided to come back to this specific office despite realizing there was a closer tag office by my house. read more

Quick easy the wait time and being seen took about 45 minutes all together due to COVID-19 County Office did quite well.

Used this office to renew my car tag this year instead of using the Main Office in Marietta. I have to say I was in and out of there in under 10 minutes. Everyone was very friendly too, I was greeted as soon as I peeked my head in the door. I was thrilled and will never go back to the Marietta office again, if I can help it. This is one of the best ran government offices in Cobb County. We come here at least once a year to renew our tags. I've also had to talk with detectives at this location before. My experience has been great every time. The lines are never very long and they move fast. They office staff is well organized and always pleasant. I wish other government offices ran like this one. read more
