My mother did me a favor and brought my battered & bruised barely-still-suede loafers to the folks at Cobblers Corner to see if they could salvage them, since it's so hard to find shoes that work for my feet. They were in very rough shape, to the point where the response upon seeing them was apparently "What do they want, a miracle?" And then: they delivered a miracle. I can't BELIEVE how good the shoes look, practically like new. I don't know what kind of sorcery they worked but they're clearly magic, and did it for a VERY reasonable price. Brought in back pack with nylon edges on both the shoulder straps as the problem. Their solution (although makes sense on paper) was to cover the problem on both straps with leather patches. When I picked up the backpack, the workmanship was messy, they used 2 different types of leather on each strap and the leather patches were different sizes. The EXPENSIVE backpack now looks like a mess. I even attempted to discuss this and maybe come up with another solution. They would not hear of it and basically told me to leave. read more

This place has been the go to cobbler in town for the many years I've lived in Mt. Kisco. I'm giving it a one star rating because the person who was working on my shoes called me full of sh*t when I complained about the work he had done. I'm pretty sure that cursing out your customer will no doubt lose him business. read more

I don't know if the owner is losing his mind but I wouldn't trust leaving your belongings to be fixed. I had a pair of boots repaired last year and when I went to pick them up he couldn't find them. I went back 3 times and finally his son looked again and Found the boots. His work is exceptional but had I not returned, I would've never gotten them back. He was highly recommended so I tried him again. I had a few sandal's needing repair for the summer but most importantly I needed the strap on my favorite "coach" sandal's repaired because they were lifting from under the heel. I returned about a month later and the strap to go around my ankle was missing from one of the coach sandals. The owner stated that I didn't bring it and it was my fault and I shouldn't be upset with him. I walked out but I'll never bring anything back because he has no accountability. Yes, I should've never returned so shame on me. read more

this place is by far the WORST SHOE REPAIR SHOP EVER. I brought my $1,000 heels to get the soles protected. A simple rubber piece protecting the bottom of the toe part of the shoe. THEY COMPLETELY BOTCHED THE JOB. Not only did I never wear these shoes, I had purposely not worn them for one year waiting to get the soles protected. They scratched the bottom of the soles, destroying the paint. They then tried to repair it by using a BRIGHT RED paint that did not match whatsoever. The sole protector was uneven. They tried to spray paint the edges of the sole protector, CLEARLY without covering the shoe. The entire shoe is full of black spray paint. I walked out CRYING. Do NOT bring your shoes here. If I could give them zero stars I would. THEN when I went to get my money back for the HORRIBLE job, they started fighting with me read more

Cobblers Corners is one of the most useful shops in Mount Kisco. Father and son have been there for as long as I can remember and what they do best is restore those favorite shoes that I can't bear to part with. The best part, they are so affordable!! Every time I leave the store I feel like they practically did it for free. They are talented and such perfectionists your shoes look brand new when you pick them up. I have been going for years and I hope they stay right were they are....Also, if you need duplicate keys made, they do that too. read more

1 star because I can't do any less. Took 2 pairs of shoes here, being new to the area and it being closest to work. Boots needing some gluing,and sandals needed new soles and inserts. Should have turned and walked out immediately, when the first words out of the guy's mouth were, "These are old." Old? Whatever. Well, he couldn't fix them, and he ruined them trying. Most amateur job ever. Boots were in the same needing-glue condition as when I dropped them off, except now had dried glue all over the leather; and sandals had bits of plastic hanging off all the edges- I had to ask the guy to trim them before I walked out. Ended up throwing the boots away- couldn't get the glue off in the end. Terrible experience. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

Great mom and pop shop! Brought in heels to get the heel cap replaced... Picked them up nicely polished too! Reasonably priced, friendly service. Only downside would be that the store is only open 8-5, which can make it tough to stop in. read more

We've been customers of this shoe repair for 30+ years, but that apparently is not long enough to be recognized as trustworthy customers. My wife came home spitting nails after her treatment yesterday. True, she had lost my claim chit and gave our home telephone number insteady of my cell phone number. But the treatment by the father and son team means we can't go back. They do decent work. I never had a problem with the quality. I have always taken my really good shoes to the Italian shoe repair in Port Chester. A bit more expensive, but top notch. Sad. read more

I just had the most horrible experience, and I have been bringing my shoes here for years! Brought in my favorite pair of leather boots, that were coming apart at the sole in a very small section. The older gentleman at the counter takes it and proceeds to rip it terribly! Then he brings it to the back to the other gentleman, who proceeds to ruin the bottom of the sole by putting it on a grindstone of some sort, then turns to me and says 'I can't fix them.' I am so completely horrified at what just happened, I am speachless...the older gentleman then starts to take a second pair of shoes I brought in, and I politely say, 'No thank you, I will take my shoes elsewhere.' At that point the other gentleman says, 'I can fix it, but you need new soles, and that will cost $60., which doesn't seem worth it, that's why I said I couldn't fix them.' Well...where to start....number one: I think it would be my decision to determine if your estimate was reasonable and if the boots were worth fixing...number two: never in my life have I seen someone damage something to a much further extent while 'looking' at it to determine the estimate....first ripping the boot, then putting the perfectly FINE sole to a grindstone! And not to mention, the other gentleman doing all of the talking was incredibly rude. That is no way to do business. FIRST, in my opinion, they owe me compensation for the damage that they did, as my boots left with more damage than they had when I walked into the place. And second, for a business that has been there for quite some time, you would think they would know that good business is to explain to the customer what the repair would entail and then give their opinion on whether it was worth it or not...And lastly...be polite to your customers! So now I will call them to complain and ask for compensation, and clearly I will never, ever, bring any of my shoes/boots/etc. to this establishment again. Cobbler Corner may be a useful shop to fix a pair of shoes but they are the modern day version of Seinfeld, soup nazi. I forgot my ticket but had to stop off to get shoes that I had left there. I had my ticket the week before but they had closed early. When I apologetically explained that I did not have my ticket but I really needed my shoes, the cobbler was mean, rude and agitated. As I stood at his counter, he went back, and began to work on some men's shoes. I asked if I could do anything to help and he sneered that it may take 20 minutes and I will have to wait till he is ready. At that point, I expressed my frustration at how I was being treated. It became a shouting match with the cobbler screaming obscenities at me, and that I should get the f* out of his store until I have a ticket. In all of the reviews, I have seen no issues of the cobbler doing this to men - it seems that he has loses his patience with women. He had no problem expressing his outrage at me that I forgot my ticket. When another customer, a man, walked in, his tone and behavior changed. He would not give me my shoes, told me it didn't matter he closed early the prior week when I did bring my ticket and I was no lady. read more
