That being said, hotels are in short supply and they charge accordingly. I would gladly stay here again, for a work trip (never with family) provided I can inspect the functionality of the shower. Since it is so hard to get our son asleep, we just flipped the mattress and slept on the back of the mattress with the sheet from our son's bed. We got up in the morning and went to tell the office. All hotels in Midland/Odessa area were asking close to $400 per night! Not here! It was closer to $100 & we've never gotten such a lovely welcome!! Prompt friendly check in, complete with lemonade & cookies. We inadvertently showed up on a Wednesday which meant dinner included! Margarita hosted all guests (5-8 pm) at the managers reception with her home cooked chicken tortilla casserole & a piping hot pot of delicious rice!!! And beer or wine included! Ooookaaayy! :) Then to our clean, quiet & spacious room. The extra space & fast internet was much appreciated. We slept great on the comfy beds & woke up to a FULL breakfast (included). These folks really try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And it was a blessing to experience. We'll always stay here when traveling through west Texas.

My husband and I always try to book hotels that have suites so we can both sleep comfortably. Usually, one of us ends up on an uncomfortable sofa or sofa bed. What a great layout and concept to have a bed in each section of the suite! We each had our own king size bed in our own space so we both could sleep comfortably. Will definitely be staying again on return!
