I highly recommend it. Once they reach high school (9-12th grades), students choose a traditional or honors track of classes based on their academic and life goals. Regardless of the track of classes they select, students are taught the necessary materials to succeed in their field of choice. I have now had kids at NLCA from K3 to 12th grade. Two have graduated (with honors)! For the college-bound, the honors curriculum covers the materials necessary for each student to score exceptionally well at every testing level. As a parent, I am thrilled my children learned the material, tested well, and won college scholarships to match their scores. Overall it is an excellent school. As a school, they go beyond simply meeting all state requirements for graduation; they help parents academically prepare their children to be successful adults.

I spoke to the director who assured me again that they had brand new lift to use and the employee didn't know what they are talking about. So I finally got my dad to agree to go a week or 2 later. They showed me what I'd need to do to use the lift which is fine. My dad just was not comfortable at all in the water. I had already paid $104 for the sign up and monthly fee. I called them to cancel on 8/31 and received no answer. I called again on 9/1 which they were closed. Finally talked to them on 9/2 telling them to cancel and that I had been calling. They told me to cancel online and I did immediately. I called again to ensure I DID NOT get charged yet again. The gentleman told me he saw the cancellation request and would follow up on it and ensure it was done. Just saw my CC statement and I was charged on 9/8/25 for some strange reason which prompted me to look at my dads account and his acct is Still active. So to recap, $154 so far for one successful visit and they will try to charge again on 10/1/25 since he is still active. I DEFINITELY would not recommend this place.

I was able to take the spin class, the YFit class, and the spin/Trx class and had a great time in all of them. The childcare is pretty great with slides for the older kids. My children looked forward to going every morning. We also got to check out the indoor pool area which was so much fun for my kids. Note that you do need to get a swim test for the kids if they want to go on the larger slides. Fun times had by all, we love the Y!

Great education with the addition of charity and kindness taught here through requiring/encouraging the students to volunteer for charitable acts around the community and world. I was told me that if I do not have trust in the teachers after they have cared for my child for 2 years, I should find a new daycare that aligns with my expectations. The next business day my son had his napper set out and a note saying it was his last day of daycare, no notice, no time to plan, for my child to say goodbye. the teachers SAT there and stared at him while he hugged friends and did not even say a goodbye. My child was not a problem child, i was not a problem parent, this was my first concern and we were kicked out for raising a concern. Morgan demands 100% blind trust or you will be removed. Her ego cannot handle being a boss or running a daycare. it is pathetic to expect a parent to not advocate and question on behalf of their 4 year old child. I was very polite with my request and was met with immaturity and defensiveness. I will take this as a warning sign and you should too. Teachers do not smile or greet any children coming in or out. Of course like a lot of parents we worried that she might be a little behind because of virtual school and our own shortcomings as "teachers helpers".
