Of course like a lot of parents we worried that she might be a little behind because of virtual school and our own shortcomings as "teachers helpers". Our daughter really enjoys going, she attends 2-3 days a week in person. They also have virtual slots as well if that's more convenient. They make it really fun and my daughter loves winning prizes. I highly recommend it. Once they reach high school (9-12th grades), students choose a traditional or honors track of classes based on their academic and life goals. Regardless of the track of classes they select, students are taught the necessary materials to succeed in their field of choice. I have now had kids at NLCA from K3 to 12th grade. Two have graduated (with honors)! For the college-bound, the honors curriculum covers the materials necessary for each student to score exceptionally well at every testing level. As a parent, I am thrilled my children learned the material, tested well, and won college scholarships to match their scores. Overall it is an excellent school. As a school, they go beyond simply meeting all state requirements for graduation; they help parents academically prepare their children to be successful adults.

The crowd is pretty much middle aged with a few young people but don't let that deter you. The environment is engaging and great for young professionals who need to burn some steam lol. Coming from a "mega gym" (aka LA Fitness) I'm glad that I was able to find this gym gem :) I see more results and I actually look forward to coming multiple times of the week (& weekend).

This Y is the home of the Montgomery Barracuda Swim Team. This Y is also home to an after school program between 3-5:30pm Weekdays. If you want to shoot hoops their court is usually not crowded. They have plenty of exercise equipment, but do to the layout ....the machines are spread throughout multiple rooms. The bathrooms are in desperate need of a remodel and I wish they had a steam room or sauna like some of the other Y's. The front desk staff is pleasant, which makes up for most of the other short comings.

owner will kick your child out with 0 days notice if you question treatment of your child!!…read more The owner Morgan Cleveland is very immature and unprofessional. i asked to review camera footage of a complaint my child had and she NEGLECTED to allow me to view this footage and would not even allow me to question the incident. I was told me that if I do not have trust in the teachers after they have cared for my child for 2 years, I should find a new daycare that aligns with my expectations. The next business day my son had his napper set out and a note saying it was his last day of daycare, no notice, no time to plan, for my child to say goodbye. the teachers SAT there and stared at him while he hugged friends and did not even say a goodbye. My child was not a problem child, i was not a problem parent, this was my first concern and we were kicked out for raising a concern. Morgan demands 100% blind trust or you will be removed. Her ego cannot handle being a boss or running a daycare. it is pathetic to expect a parent to not advocate and question on behalf of their 4 year old child. I was very polite with my request and was met with immaturity and defensiveness. I will take this as a warning sign and you should too. Teachers do not smile or greet any children coming in or out. LOW VIBES day in and day out. can't blame them.

I contacted MasterRead on Zelda Road and I so glad we did. The price was reasonable and he received one on one tutoring. In a short period of time he went from reading on a third grade level to reading on a ninth grade level and his grades sired. He went from a C average student to an A-B average student! Ms Walker is absolutely amazing!
