The overall experience was great. The staff is friendly, Dr Morland did what can only be described as a thorough exam. If I didn't know the alphabet before the exam, I sure know it now. Just not in the right order. Almost forgot, the bright lights. Once that test was completed, I felt I was blind. You can imagine my relief, when she told me my vision was good. Dr Morland was very informative and answered every question I came up with. I had a lot. She is a caring professional. I definitely would recommend her as an optometrist.

Dr. Barry is an incredibly friendly man and is great at what he does. He makes conversation that, for someone who might be uncomfortable as a patient at an optometrists office, would find relaxing. Very informative as well, I ask questions about what he is doing, he answers with a well-explained answer. I have been a happy patient of Champlain Dental for many years. Dr. Salidas was a very good…read moredentist and also a very good person. However Dr. Salidas has retired and a new dentist (Dr. Mersal) has taken over. The first time I was seen by the new dentist I was informed of three cavities that needed to be filled. I was told that one of the cavities would be $250 and the other two would be $200 each for a total of $650. I am retired and on a fixed income without benefits (the dentist was aware of lack of benefits) and $650 was more than I wanted to spend at one time. So I made an appointment to have the worst cavity filled for $250. When the dentist was filling the cavity I was informed that he would like to fill a cavity in the tooth next to it while I was already "frozen" and save a return trip. I agreed. When the procedure was complete and I was preparing to pay I was informed that I would have to pay more than the cost quoted. I was also told I still had two cavities remaining. When I questioned the increase I was told the dentist had to drill more than he expected. The cost went from $250 to $300. And the cavity in the the tooth next to it was one that he did not know about before (even though I get x-rays at the recommended times and had a check up three days previous). He charged me $230 for the newly found cavity. My expected $250 trip to the dentist just became $530. Not very nice for fixed income budget. So I have to wonder about the competence of this dentist when he could not use the x-rays to determine the extent of the original cavity and also not being aware of a cavity in the neighboring tooth three days after a check up.. Obviously I am now changing dentists and would not recommend this dentist to anybody. I need to trust my health care providers and I certainly cannot trust this dentist.

The team is friendly, very understanding and there is no doubt that Northcare Dental really does care about each individual's wellbeing. Here is a perfect example, I recently had my second crown completed and both times Dr Bonstein called the following day to ensure that everything was good. What other Dentist does that? The office has the most up to date technology . So what does that mean to the patient? The dentist shows you a real time (live ) images of your teeth and jaw imagery and xrays take a second to complete .It is so amazing. Nervious about going to the dentist ? Then got to North Care Dental Clinic . The monument you enter the office til the time you leave is total relaxation . It is like going to the spa but for your teeth.
