Even amid a busy dinner rush, they were quick to greet us and seat our family without difficulty. That level of hospitality goes a long way, especially when you're traveling with hungry kids! I chose the Mixed Beef and Chicken Doner, and it hit all the right notes. The beef was wonderfully seasoned, with a subtle sear that provided depth to each bite, and the chicken was moist and soft. It was a big, satisfying supper served with fluffy rice, fresh salad, and warm bread that reminded me of meals I had in other countries. My wife and kids ordered the Chicken Adana Kebab, and they were equally impressed. The skewers were grilled to perfection, with just the proper amount of heat, and the serving sizes were large. Our server ensured that the spice level was appropriate for children while maintaining the flavor. We couldn't resist eating the Tres Leches dessert, and it was the ideal way to cap the lunch. It was moist, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet, making it one of the greatest we'd ever eaten, Turkish restaurant or not. Mama Fatma Turkish Cuisine has earned a spot on our go-to list for family dinners thanks to its outstanding service, delectable cuisine, and clean, pleasant ambiance. Highly recommended for those looking for genuine Turkish cuisine with a touch of warm friendliness!

It's like a sampler plate that includes a variety of their signature dishes, allowing you to sample a little bit of everything. Personally, I found the portion to be generous enough for 3-4 people, unless you have very good appetites or are prepared to take home leftovers. Their kebabs are bursting with flavor. They grill them with lamb oil or lamb fat to enhance the taste. The beef doner and chicken were tender, juicy, and well-marinated, while the lamb chops were perfectly cooked. The mini pides looked cute. As for drinks, I tried the Doğanay Şalgam. This salty turnip juice has a unique flavor profile; it was quite an interesting experience for me as I had never tried salty juices before. In fact, it's the kind of taste you might find yourself becoming obsessed with. Although the restaurant is located in an ordinary plaza, the interior is spacious and decorated in authentic Turkish style. The staff were friendly and patient, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. If you are seeking an authentic taste of Turkey I'd recommend this restaurant. Fantastically fresh food that's family-friendly…read more Food: Had a couple of dishes to share, starting with the garden salad that was very fresh and cool, perfect for a home summer day yet with a hint of sweetness that made it bright and vibrant. The hummus with mushroom was also very unique, it tasted very earthy and balanced the pita very well, providing some chew and meatiness to the dish. The pide was also very nice and crispy, and you can taste each ingredient separately on the pide yet it all melds together with the fragrant spices combine it all. Service: There was plenty of seating available in the restaurant, and the people were all very friendly. As it was our first time, the server helped provide some recommendations and walked us through some favourites on the menu. Atmosphere: The place was a nice and clean, but nothing spectacular in terms of design. Seats were comfortable enough, although the tables were fairly close together.

There is construction on 400 so it can be tricky to get here. You might have to go one exit passed Steeles and come back but it's worth it. Because of the time I went , there was only on other person in the dining room. You can see back into the kitchen. I like that be because the dining room usually smells pretty good. The server was from Turkey and he had a bit of an accent which made me think the food would be a little more authentic. On the recommendation of the server I got the Cokertme Kebab. It doesn't quite look like it does in the menu picture but it was really good. The beef strips were well seasoned and tender. The yogurt complimented the beef very well and the chips added good texture. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

The owner was our host and he was so friendly while juggling multiple tables and training new staff. We started with Baba Ganoush and Coban Salad, adventured into the unusual with the Kelle Paca and feasted on the Chicken Shawarma and Beyti Kebab. Quantity is generous with each dish and we ended up packing up the equivalent of one full meal between all the dishes to take home. I love that they have a coal grill right in the restaurant, grilling up delicious meats fresh to order but there was no smoke in the dining area. Also, there is a cafe area and a bar area when not eating, as their were patrons hanging out and relaxing in the spacious area. My personal favorite for the night was the Kelle Paca as I've never seen it in any restaurant. It is a hearty tomato based soup made of head meat. It sound crazy but is absolutely delicious! I like the different chunks of meat, all slightly different in texture and taste. End the meal with some traditional tea!
