This is a cute Asian dessert place in the less busy parts of Capitol Hill. We went here on a Tuesday after dinner and it was fairly busy, but we were able to snag a two top table on the side to fit the 3 of us. We shared the Strawberry Nutella Shibuya Toast and Strawberry Cheesecake Bingsu, which was more than enough for 3 people. Price was fair as each order is fairly large portions. Strawberry Nutella Shibuya Toast - large toast with nutella, topped with chocolate ice cream and sliced strawberries. The toast is quite buttery, crunchy outside and soft inside. We intended to take this to-go since the bingsu is large already, but we ended up devouring this quickly because it was so good. Strawberry Cheesecake Bingsu - very good bingsu. The texture of the ice is good - fluffy yet not super cold to the touch. There are pieces of cheesecake that is on the sweeter side, topped with strawberry syrup on the side that is fairly sweet, but at least you can control the sweetness with the latter. I liked that the base bingsu is still flavorful with the condensed milk, but is not to sweet, my favorite level of sweetness. There is vanilla ice cream on top. It is quite interesting that the bingsu is placed in a base that looks like a stove. All these desserts are aesthetic, so that is a bonus. Service was really, really slow - I had to wait maybe 10 minutes just to order and then another 10-15 for the food to come out. Hopefully that will get better as this place is still pretty new.
