After completing the computer-based test, it prints and you just pick up the result without the proctors seeing it (just in case you feel dumb that you failed...lol). This university also offers tons of computer/cyber courses and certificate tracks. I took a 5-day CISSP bootcamp and they provided lunch from Texas roadhouse - my company paid so wasn't sure about the cost. The classrooms are clean and new with computer workstations. Areas where I think could be improved, especially administratively, other staff members have more than made up. I feel fortunate to be going to this campus-the facilities are nice too. Though selection of classes is limited, the classes are small and students receive a lot more attention (this doesn't seem like the norm for the main campus). I also love that my fellow students are a lot more mature. -Very glad to have a local option.

I found that the smaller classroom instruction inside the satellite campus was great! At the time, it was 2006-2008 when I was taking the bulk of my courses at the Sierra Vista, Arizona campus, but my instructors (approx. 1 instructor to 20 students) were very knowledgeable about the material they taught. I found the staff to be very helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable on paperwork. WBU strives to educate students in a challenging environment with a focus on Christian stewardship, and they do it well. As a Christian, I find myself happy with the coursework and I do not think the school shoves Christianity down anyone's throat. Unless things have changed drastically, you will still be expected to learn Old and New Testament as part of the curriculum requirements for graduation, but it is expected everyone should not be surprised by that while attending a Christian university. Though I will tell you, this is NOT a party school. WBU is designed for adult student learners that are busy professionals, younger students, military members, and just about anyone who is serious about studying, learning and growing in their education walk. Their campus at Sierra Vista, Arizona is nice and well maintained, small, and does not have dormitories. WBU also has an office extension on Fort Huachuca for military members, contractors, or government employees to take their coursework. One of the best things to remember is that WBU works with local colleges and universities to accept and translate experiential professional development. This means that if you were in a technical field in the military, you could earn some credits based on that experience. Lastly, I am finishing out my Master's degree at WBU Online and I find the coursework challenging, rewarding, realistic and the professors are professional and knowledgeable as well. If your in Plainview, Texas, or from anywhere really, consider WBU for your higher learning experience. I am very satisfied, overall, with my experience.

My oldest son started here this last semester and loved his experience here. Can't beat the tuition prices and value. The staff was super helpful at having him apply for all available financing and grants. They helped him enroll and corrected a class problem he had where he was enrolled in a class at the wrong campus. Cochise College offers great additional programs outside of traditional college learning like their "life long learning" program which focuses on great one day classes to explore and expand your knowledge. They also offer a summer youth camp for kid which focuses on arts an technology. My youngest son (13 now) has done these programs over the past three years and loves them. He looks forward to the summers now in order to go to these great classes. Do yourself a favor and check out the campus and get going on your education!
