Worst possible granite install!!!…read more Severely damaged our cabinets and drywall during the install. Quote to replace the damaged cabinets was over $3,000.00 for just material. They came back after installing the tops and made poor quality repairs to the granite where they miscut the tops trying to install them. After holding out on the final payment they came out after insulting us at their shop and said they could just paint the damaged cabinets vs replacing the drawers and cabinet. They had no intention of fixing their mess correctly and just wanted to hide it by paint in hopes we would wear down and go away. My wife was furious and decided she didn't want them in our house any more and we gave them the final check. We had over 15k in granite and the install was the lowest quality you would find and they had no customer service to correct their mistake and just wanted to cover it up. I would never have them work for us again and would recommend anyone looking for granite or solid surface tops to go to homedepot or Harrison and find someone there.

Then the worst part was when Steve fell through my kitchen ceiling and tried to blame me. And if that wasn't bad enough that my kitchen ceiling came down they sent three guys who had been drinking to fix the ceiling. Instead of fixing the ceiling they cut a square out of the ceiling and put a square into the ceiling even though a 4x8 sheet was ruined plus and then they ruined the texture on my ceiling. And to this day it's still like that because they've never fixed it. Even though every job that I ever had them work on I paid cash money. So I wouldn't recommend them for anything. I strongly recommend anybody should call the Arkansas electrical licensing or the contractor's licensing board to make sure that all the workers that come to your house are indeed licensed in the state of Arkansas. I will say one thing that was good about the company and that was Ed. Ed was an extremely personable person I don't know what his actual job is but I would say working in a field of construction that I had for decades that I would say he would be an amazing outside salesperson because he is definitely a good talker very pleasant professional and it's got a sense of humor. So yay for Ed but he's not the one working on anything electric or drywall for that matter. So I would not hire zimdall electric. Also I have to say that this is nothing to do with the original owner Richard zimdall who is retired. This business is not owned by zimdalls anymore. I don't say this lightly. Seamless Gutter Systems installed our gutter systems only after another local company, Bar FZ Seamless Gutter & Property Services, failed. They failed at ever level, see my review on Bar FZ for details; however, briefly, they used small gutters on a home that required larger gutters. The installation looked bad, they damaged my property, and most importantly, the gutters did not work! They were unable to fix the mess they created rendering their 10 year warranty useless and the owner was abusive to us once he determined they couldn't fix their mess. During the very first rainstorm, the system failed. The pitch was dead-level, causing water to pour directly behind the gutters and underneath the new installation. Leslie has posted the videos and photos of the leaks with this review-the proof of their botched work is undeniable. When we asked them to honor their warranty and fix the leaks, the owner's immediate response was to threaten to bring law enforcement to our house to rip the gutters down. I have text messages proving I explicitly offered to pay in full once the job was corrected. Instead, he called the police, who quickly realized this was a civil contract issue. Now, to distract from his own bad workmanship, the owner has resorted to posting unhinged, fabricated stories and attacking my craftsmanship as a builder. Let's set the record straight: The "House Structure" Lie: He claims the house I built is twisted and out of level, and that I don't know how to use a string line. The house is built perfectly plumb and square. Even if a house did have structural issues, a competent contractor would point that out before doing the work, not use it as a retroactive excuse after their dead-level gutter installation fails. The Damage / Sawzall Lie: He actually claimed in a public response that I threw a tantrum and cut his gutter hangers with a Sawzall. I have attached our home surveillance footage to this review. The video clearly shows his own crew ripping down and intentionally destroying their own materials. The Sprinkler & Marijuana Lies: He blamed our sprinklers for not being able to work properly, even though Leslie was home all day receiving home health care and no one ever asked her to move anything. He also made bizarre, deflecting accusations about marijuana, completely ignoring the fact that she has a medical card. He is now publicly bragging about using derogatory slurs against our friends and trying to "blacklist" us with other contractors just because we refused to pay for a broken system. Save yourself the massive headache and hire a professional who stands behind their work and treats people with respect.

My neighbor even got them to use their little backhoe to do something on his property after they finished with mine. My neighbors commented on what a professional job they did as well. They were as impressed as I was. I heartily recommend. It's hard to find good reliable companies in this area, so it is good to find one. They do a ton of business, so are much in demand and you might have to wait 2 or 3 weeks for them to get to you, but they are worth the wait.
