Melina Blanco is a great teacher. As a (much) older adult, I can fully appreciate her promptness, courtesy, patience and above all, her comprehensive knowledge of upright bass. She has taught me so much in so short a time, I'm amazed. I came in with just a cursory knowledge of upright bass. Now I'm getting good tone, more consistent bowing, better intonation, less fatigue, and more joy playing than I ever could have on my own. If you are considering learning a musical instrument I recommend having a teacher. RDMA would be worthy of your first consideration. They have a friendly staff and an ever improving studio.
