I purchased a "pollo Asado" and was by far the worst!! I waited 30 min at their food truck someone drove the chicken from the restaurant. When I got home was the biggest disappointment. Was so dry and old no flavor whatsoever. I reached out and told them. They Admit that it was old and apologized. Was told they would give me a fresh pollo asada by the weekend since they were going to be making a fresh batch. NEVER got a call back for a refund or anything. $40 dollars down the drain. Stopped in for asada and chicken tacos. Tacos were phenomenal. Some of the best tacos I've had in this time zone. The homemade tortillas were incredible. I really want to give a 3.5 as a combined score but I will round up because the food was so good. It was not busy on a Sunday night at 5pm. We were told to sit anywhere so I choose a booth. The table was dirty but before I could ask our server came over and cleaned it. She was very nice and attentive. I ordered the taco salad with shredded chicken and my partner ordered the tamales which were the special. There a perfect amount of chicken and it was seasoned and not plain. The bowl was very fresh which has become not the norm lately. The only thing missing was guacamole. It said it came with it but I did not get any. My partner said the tamales were very good along with the beans but the rice was just ok. This place is a find and we will be back. read more

This is two different restaurants, depending on time of day, and I have plenty of authentic family run Mexican restaurants a block from my house so I'm going to review this place as a breakfast joint. It's a great breakfast joint. Clean, sunny, cheerful interior with friendly, prompt, bilingual service. I love their corned beef and hash breakfast, but I like it with Mexican rice and eggs over easy with my pancakes on a different plate which is not exactly the combination they offer on the menu but they have no problem with substitutions (I guess within reason). They also have a variation on eggs benedict where they use sausage and sausage gravy instead of hollandaise sauce. They bring out salsa and chips even for breakfast, the green salsa is obviously fresh made and delicioso. Fresh hot coffee, and hardly any use of disposable plastic (ask them to hold the straw), plenty of parking space, this place is a prime choice to start your day. read more

We stopped by on a Friday and ordered the baked cod. We were provided chips and salsa. Excellent!! The cod was Devine! Loved the sauce. The fries, potato pancakes, slaw and rye toast were equally as good. The staff and owner were very nice. The whole experience was 10/10. read more

My girlfriend and I weren't sure if this place was open, much less legit. We took a chance and we're so glad we did! We were the only two in the restaurant for dinner. The waitress, Dolce, was extremely helpful and attentive. I asked if they had a salsa without cilantro in it, since I have the gene that makes it taste like soap. She checked with the chef and brought back a spicy avocado sauce that was creamy. Incredible! We tried the guacamole, which was the best I've ever had. It was full of diced onions, red Bell peppers, and a good mixture of mashed and diced avocados. I saw a bunch of cilantro in it but couldn't taste it because of all the other flavors going on in it, including garlic. We asked about their micheladas. They use a mix, but they happened to be out of it so Dolce made it herself. Again, the best I've ever had. One recommendation for dinner was spot on! We've been back numerous times and will keep going when their food is what we're in the mood for. read more

We've ordered from this place a few times now. The food has always been really good, but the service has been consistently disappointing. Every time we order, something goes wrong, either the order is incorrect, or the wait time is way longer than what they tell us. We've been told 15-20 minutes, only to end up waiting close to an hour more than once. We let it slide the first few times, but at this point it's just a pattern. The last time was the final straw. When we called about the delay and tried to get a refund, we were told we needed to show ID just to get our money back, which made no sense. On top of that, the person answering the phone (who doesn't even work at the restaurant) was rude and hung up on us multiple times. Really disappointed, because the food deserves better service behind it. But we won't be ordering again. read more

I just had the best (and most generous) juevos and chorizo breakfast I've had in a decade. Their coffee is great (may be a trade secret but they put a tiny pinch of cinnamon in). Service was prompt and the food was delicious. We tried the enchiladas and chorizo tacos as well as an appetizer of Guacamole. The mild salsa was a little too spicy for my better half but I found it delightful. The salsa verde was more like a salsa crema and was especially tasty.
