I received my precious pup from Joe when she was 8 weeks old. Although I have had many dogs in the past, they have always been rescues of some sort. Getting my pup from Joe represented a lot of firsts for me - first time with an 8 week old puppy, first time working with a breeder, first time with a cocker spaniel, first time purchasing a pup long distance, first time experiencing having a pup flown to me. Joe Cocker is the best breeder of American Cocker Spaniels I've known. He loves his dogs and is always available to answer questions or concerns we have. I was able to bring home two retired puppy mama dogs, Baby Cakes and Diva. They are the sweetest, gentlest, most beautiful cockers I've ever owned. Next month they will be 15 years old and have been very healthy. At Joe's direction I was able to rescue Diva from a bad situation In an adjoining state. He follows his dogs from birth to death. Not many, if any breeders care about their dogs like he does. I recommend Joe to anyone wanting a great quality cocker spaniel! The kennel is amazing and very clean. I got my cocker spaniel from Joe about 8 yrs ago. My cocker came fully vaccinated and healthy. Went to the vet the day I got him, and my vet commented on just how healthy and good-looking of a puppy he was. Said it showed signs of a good breeder. He is my third cocker spaniel, and I can tell you after having a "puppy mill" puppy before, Joe and his crew do NOT run a puppy mill. He has called to check up on pups before. He takes it personally when one of his puppies has any issues and keeps in contact with all of his owners. We have a large community and help and support each other. That is all due to Joe. Our boys were purchased from Joe at 8 weeks old. We were originally only getting one. Then on the day we were to pick up Rocky, we decided to bring his brother home too. On very short notice, Rusty was checked by their vet, given a clean bill of health and was ready to go home. We were shown how to clean their ears hands-on and both boys were sent off with food, treats, toys, and detailed instructions on their care and feeding. The problem with the internet is there is no control over people who have mental illness problems posting anything that may enter their feeble little mind. This person did indeed receive one of our puppies, however after his neighbors reported animal abuse we took the dog away from him, a rescue indeed. We have our chocolate cocker. He had some stomach issues. We dealt with the vet and it didn't help. We finally decided to call Joe.
