He recommends this place so I'd say it's good for what you pay for and it was really good because my husband wanted to give a tip. Before he went I was telling him about the reviews I had read about they try to force you to tip but it wasn't even that way at all they weren't forceful at all and they were nice. Tried this place on a whim and loved it. It's different from other massage places, so you have to be open to it. The people who work here have very limited English skills, but that helps you just relax and not interact. The foot soak and reflexology massage was amazing. I left feeling totally relaxed. Ask for them to adjust the pressure if you like a deeper tissue massage. Most importantly, you get the full time you request. Unlike Massage Envy that turns your hour massage into something closer to 35-40 mins, and while you should tip for good service, Coco's doesn't slap you in the face everywhere with "suggested tipping guidelines". Overall, this is a great place, reasonably priced. If you prefer the pomp of massage spas, go get oiled up at massage envy or a resort. If you want to come out feeling like your muscles are relaxed, go to Coco's. It's not fancy, but it does the job. read more

I will only give this place a one star because of the guy up front (receptionist). First off the setting was kind of sketchy, I didn't like how they had clothes lines with curtains to separate the you from other costumers. The ladies in there didn't have respect for customers. They kept giggling and talking to each other. The girl that I had was VERYY LAZY about the massage. There was no pressure, as if she was just touching/ rubbing my skin. I asked her to apply more pressure kindly and she starting talking away with the other workers. Out of the 60 mins I would say only half the time she was actually "massaging". The other half she would walk out of the room to go & "grab something, or wash her hands. Let me start by saying I have been going to cocos reflexology for years now. Today was the first time in about a year and I was NOT happy with my experience overall. I did not like the fact that I wore specific undergarment for a reason so for them to be pulled down to where half my ass crack is exposed. We have a problem, I immediately pulled my underwear up the man says "OK?" I said "no, not ok! Too low" then as I'm getting my massage I can feel his reach over to the opposite side of my body and what feels like his body sort of pressing against my arm. Now mind you my face is down so I could not see but immediately I pulled my arms to my side. Rest of massage was fine but those first two little things weirded me out. As I am paying the woman gives me my change and the therapist is literally standing there like a puppy waiting to be fed. I hand him $10 because in my opinion that's what I felt it was worth to tip. He literally looks at the money as if I handed him a $1 bill. In my mind I'm thinking I should have charged him for the pleasure he was getting out of massaging me. This place is a joke. I remember when it opened and they were so accommodating. I used to live around here but now I dont live close. So I don't go often. I walked in today and was on the phone. I told the person I had to go because I didn't want to disturb the other people. Coco said "it's okay there's no one here". She asked how long did I want. Then before I could answer she said do you have an appointment? I told her no. She said "oh we're busy, sorry, do you want to make and appointment?" I told her "no, I don't live around her and I won't come back here ever again!" I am so pissed. What kind of company turns away customers. If you are so busy then at least put a sign up saying you are accepting appointments only instead of having customers think you accept walk ins. Worst customer service ever. read more

I purchased a 60 min hot stone deep tissue massage. While what the lady did was relaxing. It was not what I made an appointment for. Maybe 15 min was spent on my back. And about 2 min of that was with the hot stones. Which by the way I thought were going to melt my skin. My back was also rubbed mostly through the cover of a towel. And it was more pushed on rather than kneading and massaging out the knots and kinks. The facial massage, arms and feet felt good. But again, it was like a more relaxing Swedish massage than a deep tissue. Online they advertise an herbal foot soak as well and I'm pretty sure there were no herbs. Just hot water in a plastic bag covered bucket. The lady also repeatedly kept going in and out to dump water or grab hot towels and the stones and whatnot. I usually have experienced most places keep those things handy and ready to use. Also, every massage I have ever gotten somewhere else had me fill out a profile sheet of where I'd like work done and problem areas and whatnot. That did not happen there. The staff was nice and I was relaxed. But did not receive what I went in for. I would not recommend or return to this establishment. read more

Came here for a 1 hr reflexology massage. Lady at the front kept trying to convince me that I only wanted a 1/2 hr foot massage. Place wasn't busy at all. In fact 4 of the workers to include the lady that was checking me in were sitting around chatting and playing with their phones. Me and my family have booked 3 appointments here. The first time we actually made it in and although the massage was relaxing the ladies were laughing the whole time. The other 2 times I have went, we booked apps a week ahead of time. Both times the appointment card was "lost" by the worker in the front and told us they would not be able to see us because they were "really" busy. We were the only ones in. I got a gift certificate for this place and the massage was good. However, every 5 to 10 minutes the masseuse kept leaving the room to talk to the other staff or help out the front. Then when I tipped her she asked for more money. So I tipped her more money and she just left and didn't say anything. The amount of money I gave her was quite a bit more than what they recommend even before I have her more. If you go I would recommend a room in the back away from the front door and make sure they aren't understaff or extremely busy were they are cutting corners. I wouldn't go here again I rather go to Massage Envy or another mom and pop place. read more

Massage was amazing..... I was happy after the massage then walked up to the front to pay, not only the guy charged my 90 min / $45 wrong, I was forced to pay the tip between $12-17 dollars. He charged my card $46, I don't know if it was by mistake or not, but to be forced to pay 30% tip was not a pleasant feeling after my massage. I will not recommend this place. Tip amount should be up to the customer based on the quality of the service (10-15% is reasonable) not a mandatory 30% + percentage by the store. read more

Been to this location many times in the past and would have always given it five stars for what you are paying but times have changed at good old cocos. The massage is still good but the price has increased and their push for big tips at the end is very uncomfortable. There literally is a board at the check out counter with what you should pay based on your satisfaction. This was a total waste of my time and money, even though it was only $19, it wasn't worth $1. It was the absolute worst massage I've ever had. It was a guy whose nails were way to long. He seemed bored and rushed and impatient all at the same time. he kept "sighing". He hurt my scalp with his nails. My scalp hurt for days after. The massage was amazing. I didn't care so much for the head and face part, but the rest of it was out of this world. Its not the pampering, soothing massage you get at a spa, its the real deal. You walk out and know your muscles have been thoroughly worked and relieved. The girl doing my massage zero'd in on my problem spots without even having to say anything, and found a few I didn't even realize I had. Don't go in expecting to come out smelling like lavender and roses, expect to feel like you've had a massage. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I didn't care for the guy in the lobby. My husband and I had massages. My husband had the deep tissue which he said it was wonderful. I had the reflexology massage and was wonderful as well. I was expecting to keep our cloths on since we have been to other places like this. Personally I like my cloths off since there is no constricting with cloths bunching up or getting in the way. It is very inexpensive and well worth it. This place is not like your normal massage places that cost $50 or more. My husband and I walked out of the place practically getting but 1 get 1 free if you compare the price with others. I would recommend this place to others. It is just like a big box chain massage but much cheaper. read more
