Coffee seems really high quality here! The only downside is no seating really and the weird hours. They open early and close early! I got the seasonal salted caramel tahini latte which was delicious.

I stopped by here after visiting a friend at a nearby office and was so glad I did. I got helped immediately and the vibes were great. I went with the Havana lattes and got a custard croissant to pair with it The latte was delish wow! Some of the best espresso and the croissant was the icing on the cake. It was massive and delicious and sweet. Great coffee place and the staff were so nice! Couldn't ask for better

Brief Summary: - Coffee is not sour This cafe is tucked away near one of the parking spaces in Kearny. The doorway is angled inwards, and from the outside it appears small. Once inside, it's pretty spacious; could fit a group of 5 or more and it won't feel crowded. I have been to a similar branch in the financial district, so I was familiar with generally how the coffee tastes like. Pleased to say it's not sour, and in addition to that there are other speciality lattes. This round I chose a caramel latte. A roasted caramel flavor, subtly comes after taking a sip. It's not too strong, which is my type for flavored coffee -- I prefer when the coffee is the main actor and the additional flavor is behind them.

A few minutes away from my hotel! I found this place on Yelp and the doorman highly recommended this place. A cute small coffee shop with minimalist interior but with lots of great coffee selections. It was mildly busy with people coming in and out for their routine caffeine. I ordered a vanilla latte and it was done within 7 minutes! Great efficiency, great flavor, and a great way to start the morning.

I love coming here to grab my morning coffee every time I head into the office. The staff are always so lovely and they make the cutest hearts on my latte. The pastries are always a must try and don't pass up the mushroom one if they have it. I can not wait for Wednesday and Thursday to come around every week so I can stop on in. If you're in the area I would def stop by for a cup.

If it's important to you that your jolt of caffeine amounts to a sensory experience that you feel you need to describe ad nauseam, then this place could be for you. Closer to Chinatown than the heart of the FiDi, it's the sister operation to the more compact (and more congested) Montgomery Street location and affords more space to hang or chat up one of the expert baristas. There were several obnoxious caffeine poseurs in the space as I was waiting for my order... ...and I don't mean the staff. You have to maneuver around them because they're too self-absorbed in their pontification to exhibit good manners. No matter as the $4.95 Havana Latte hit the spot on my way home from work (photo). It was the combination of the sweetened condensed milk and deep espresso that worked nicely. There were big cookies and even bigger scones to consider but not for me. The carb police were watching me. COFFEE - 4 stars...their Havana Latte is the lure that reels me in AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...spacious but no seating, and there are obnoxious coffee drinkers all around SERVICE - 3.5 stars...quietly effective TOTAL - 4 stars...coffee for the connoisseur RELATED - Close to Chinatown? Just a short walk from union square. If your not a walker or used to hills, this is an easy trek, with only one medium hill by SFO standards. This coffee shop was a true gem. Lots of locals visit here. The staff was friendly and the store was very clean. I ordered the coconut vanilla latte, a store specialty, and while I rarely order flavored syrup coffees, I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor. It was light and smooth. Not overly sweet and let the flavor of the coffee beans shine through. The crema was smooth and very good. The froth had an perfect silky texture. A perfect first cup of the day to compare others by. Highly recommend.

This coffee bar is awesome. Down to Earth and nice, and they're the only great coffee shop open at 6. Their cappuccino is excellent, perfect really. And they remember me and my drink....

Wall menu. Cortados are served here!

What a great little find. Nestled in between a drug store and parking garage is a quaint little coffee shop located directly across the street from 555 California St. Excellent coffee, friendly and great service, make this place a shop you want to visit every time you are near this financial district area. Also had a triple ginger scone--very well done without the normal bite of ginger, speckled throughout a moist and not too sweet scone. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Got the Havana Latte and the flavor blew me away. Not too sweet, super creamy and such a pretty art design. A little more expensive than your typical Starbucks coffee but well worth it.

Just some coffee geekery, don't be mad, k? Lmk, I'll take it down if ya really are, no worries.

Employees are hella kind, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about coffee. Cute coffee geeks. Great coffee. Made me extra happy to have this place in my neighborhood. Yay! Cool glasses too (on the barista, not holding the beverages). Spot on coffee though, seriously. I think the coffee here, though not as good as Philz or Blue Bottle, is chemically superior to most drips, at least. By virtue of having been properly brewed at appropriate time and temperatures, the flavors are clean and there is no bitter after taste. I highly enjoyed my drip cup, and will be back for sure. Seevice was top notch-- something I can't say for Blue Bottle ever, and only mostly for Philz.

A good cup of coffee captures you with its aroma. The cup releases its flavors into the air, sharing its taste with the barista in the room. Contrasted against the white paper cup, the coffee is almost jet black, but a tint of brown breaks through. The faded red 'Coffee Bar' stamp on the side completes a pleasing picture in the moments before the world is awake. The aroma, the cup of coffee on the counter, the soothing yellow lights. You can hear the silence in this picture. The cup welcomes a splash of fresh milk. The dairy introduces itself to the coffee. Mingling, dancing, coming together as one. The new hue of light brown swirls calmly within the cup. It invites you for a taste. The familiar coffee beans tingles your senses at the first sip. The caffeine gently asserts its strength, and their subtlety is appreciated. The mind feels sharp and clear, as if a veil has just been lifted. The coffee warms your hands. A relaxing moment before a new morning. Have a good day at work.

My go to coffee place !! It's a little hard to locate as it's tucked away in the corner where some construction work is going one. I used to pass by it everyday but never noticed it. My colleague introduced me to this place and some then I have become a fan. The coffee tastes the same every time. So far, I have tried there Flat white Decaf which was so smooth and creamy. I have also tried there decaf cappuccino and iced latte both are really good. Also, I really like the cup size it's serves the perfect amount of coffee nor too big nor too small. They have a snack bar stocked with eggs, granola, cold sandwich and yogurt. They also have breakfast tacos and other warm breakfast items (I haven't tried them yet) The cream/sugar bar has 5 options available - almond, soy, non-fat, whole, half and half which is great !! Overall, the staff is really friendly, service is quick but it's more like a to-go place so just pick your favourite drink and enjoy the city view !!! :)

Like the majority of SF, parking is difficult to locate. I was dropped off nearby the location. There is indoor and outdoor seating; I was able to grab an empty spot late in the morning on a weekend, but I don't think seating is always readily available. It's not a huge space.

The Mocha with the house made nut milk fell flat. It needed something. I am not a fan of syrupy coffees and appreciate the more purist approach but this one just didn't do anything for me. The chai latte which I would never order was actually the best chai latte I have ever had, it was smooth like silk. Maybe I just had the wrong coffee order. Besides that, got the hot chocolate and the coffee tasting. I was surprised there was no explanation provided with the coffee- I figured it's all Honduran but an overview of some sort would have helped. I enjoyed all the coffees in there except the latte. Will visit again, earlier in the day so they are not out of their best sellers and try a different order.

I've…read moreheard this place has one of the best katsu sando around and as a lover of Katsu, I couldn't skip it. There's some good places in SF like Cafe Okawari. But Katsu is really becoming the new hype of the day for Japanese food, following the Sushi, Ramen, Japanese Curry, Katsu trend. So I came in with a critical view. I feel like Yoshoku in general may be next but I yet again digress. The box sandwich came in a cute little box. The inside was packed so I couldn't get a chance to fully appreciate the cafe, but the service was nice though the pay line may have moved slower than hoped. I'll say this. This is "the" best katsu sando in the bay. The katsu is crispy, but little on the softer side. But this hardness matches perfectly with the absolutely tender, soft, juicy pork wrapped inside. I'm looking at the menu again and it all makes sense. The pork has been in shio koji, making the meat ever so tender while adding the subtle but complicated marinated flavor. The cabbage is plenty, but not over packed to take away from the main Katsu flavor. What really perfects it for me, was not only the sweet and savory katsu sauce, but the mayo with dash of I think a karashi mustard. That slight tingle, the perfect kick gives a powerful awakening of flavor that really sets the it apart. This is art, an artisan. Culinary art is the refuge no raging rampant AI slop "art" can ever hope to touch. Until the day we get some cyborg implant to our brain into gustatory, olfactory functions. Even then, I don't think any tasteless tech bro are hopeless to create anything unique or beautiful.
