A nice little spot right on the Seine river across from where we took a boat tour of the city. The four of us decided to split a couple of savory and style crepes. The Josephine crepe with egg, cheese, spinach, bacon and cream was rich and flavorful. The Ile se la Cote crepe with chicken, mushrooms, cream had less depth but the mushrooms were super fresh. We also shared a side salad which was generous in size and filled with lots of lettuce and a tangy dressing. We also split two sweet crepes. The Chatelet crepe with cinnamon, caramelized apples and vanilla ice cream of course tasted like traditional apple pie, but in crepe form. The Alessia crepe with salted butter caramel and bananas was perhaps the best of the four crepes we ate. Service was a bit brusque, but ultimately it did not detract from the meal. read more

Located close to the Louvre, Coffee Crêpes is a small establishment that can satisfy the sweet tooth of both vegans and non-vegans alike! After having terrible vegan crepes in the United States, I was over the moon to find a popular vegan crepe place in Paris --of all the places! I made a reservation prior to my visit, so we were seated immediately. I highly recommend to make a reservation, because I noticed that there were a lot of customers waiting to be seated as soon as they opened at noon. Knowing that they have a plenty of vegan drink menu, I ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream to start. I'm super glad I did, because of all the hot chocolate I've had in Europe, this was the best one I had! The whipped cream was sweet and unbelievably creamy, to a point where it was hard to believe that it was vegan. The hot chocolate was also nicely sweetened and had a deep chocolate flavor. As for the "savory crepe", I ordered the galette vincennes. This, I was a bit disappointed with, as the mango chutney was overpoweringly sweet and the potatoes and onions tasted overcooked. The dough/crepe skin (ew) was so much softer than the vegan crepes in the United States, but it was still a bit gritty when compared to non-vegan ones. This was the same for the dessert crepe I ordered, but I liked the sweet crepe much more. All in all, I highly recommend vegans to check this place out when in Paris, as the vegan options seem particularly limited here. read more

I have ordered the crepe Eiffel Tower which suppose to be a 4 star crepe acc. to the menu. It had a very bad taste, without any spices, no salt no pepper., the spinach as well as tomates tasted very strange. When I started to eat and I tried to put some salt and pepper by myself it didn't help. I said to the waiter that the quality is bad and want to give it back. She said I have to pay for it anyway and even didn't give a try to check the food out or ask the cook, she was ignoring us and welcoming the other guests and not even answering our questions Bad food and even worse service! Additionally on my comment on google someone from the restaurant replied very rude to my comment that I chose a vegan version so what should I expect... and maybe next time I should go to MCDonald :) I still assume that mashrooms, tomatoes and spinach should be fresh and has nothing to do with vegan or not vegan as well as using spices is also vegan. read more

Came here this morning in search of an authentic Crêpe experience. At first, I thought Yelp was wrong again as the place looked empty and it was in the middle of the tourist area close to the Louvre. To my surprise, the breakfast crêpe I had was amazing and the service was fantastic.l! I sat toward the street but there is plenty of space and more people inside. I had a savory egg, ham and cheese crêpe. It tasted like the other authentic Brittany style I have had before in other places in Paris away from the tourist maze. It is made with buckwheat. The thin nutty flavor was amazing with the cheese and fresh egg. Great find if you are looking for a spot around the Louvre. Tip: skip the coffee or go somewhere else for it. The cappuccino is made with drip coffee and whipped creme. Stick with the crêpes. read more

Update: What's even worse? The owner falsely states below in her comment that the photos are false and that we ate all the crepes. We did Not finish eating the crepes, we each took that first/one initial bite and left everything else but still paid. A good business owner would have taken responsibility, ownership and feedback and make things right for the 5 customers that day, and she was given that choice when we brought to her attention but instead she continues to be rude and bash her customers on Yelp instead of apologizing and making things right. And then she writes/posts a 5 star review for herself.... Worst crepes, unfortunately. Our server (also the owner) poured cheap alcohol on our crepe to light it (flambé) but she couldn't get it to light so she continued to pour half a cup more. Our crepe soaked up all the alcohol, got soggy and only tasted and smelled like alcohol. Also the apples were supposed to be caramelized (according to menu description) but instead were soggy small pieces of apple. My parents were so disappointed with the first tiny bite but the waiter's response was simply "well that's too bad, you ordered it." I wanted to respond, that we actually didn't order a crepe drenched in alcohol but she seemed to be so unhappy for whatever reason, so instead we just paid for that crepe that we didn't eat, and paid for another one crepe in hopes of redemption. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! If I can give it a zero star I would!!! Updates: I just want to respond to owner's comment. The waitress did not tell us the group has reservation. We only got to talk to her when we first sat down she simply told us they are busy we have to wait. We did not eat there we just left after 30+ mins of waiting and not even a glass of water. My fiancé and I wanted to get quick bite on our way from Louvre museum to Notre-Dame. Found this crepe shop on Google and decided to give it a shot. When we arrived, the restaurant was kind of full but still have seating. We were asked to seat outside and the host/waitress didn't even give us a menu. We got the menu for ourselves and ready to order but the waitress didn't even stop by to ask us what we want to drink. After 15 mins, when she was processing the check of the table next to us, she just said "We are busy so you will have to wait". Fine, I understand you are busy but you could be a lot nicer about this. While we are waiting for her, a group of 4 people walked in and sat down inside. The host/waitress was waiting on other tables while my fiancé and I kept on making eye contact with her because it's already been more than 30 mins. Before we know it she was taking the order from the group that came in after us! SO RUDE!!!! We talked to the family sit next to us and the dad said they waited about 40 mins for their crepes and it's not that great. At that point we just decided to leave because I do not want to waste time and money on a RUDE restaurant and MEDIOCRE food. There are plenty of other crepe places in Paris that not only tastes great but also offers great services. The worst that Paris has to offer! I found this business on Google Maps and thought I would pop in for a couple of dessert crepes. When I entered the restaurant nobody was there to seat me so I walked downstairs to use the bathroom while I waited. Upon exiting the bathroom and coming back up to the restaurant I was met by a lady asking me for two euros. She went on to say in a very abrasive tone, "I am not running a public bathroom." I explained to her that I wasn't there to use the bathroom but rather to try some of her crepes. There must have been a communication barrier because she continued angrily explaining to me that she did not run a public bathroom and asking me for two euros. Once I finally managed to get seated, I ordered  two cinnamon crepes and a glass of water. The crepes were fine but nothing special for €11. The lady maintained her level of hostility throughout the remainder of my visit. I noticed another reviewer saying that this restaurant was LGBT friendly and that might have something to do with the fact that I was treated so poorly by this woman as a single man. I would have thought a woman in her late 50s would have tackled her daddy issues by now. Apparently not! Read her responses to her many many negative reviews and you will easily recognize her aggressive and very negative attitude. read more

Over priced drinks. This place advertises as home made which is probably the case but more care is needed when poring the hot chocolates as each cup (5 in total) were filled to very different levels. It was difficult to understand why as we were the only people in the place. The taste was good but the price and attention to detail was lacking. We were also not welcomed in a friendly manner when we advised we only wanted hot chocolate not a meal. I have observed the replies by this business to any negative review and it is often confrontational and aggressive - blaming the customer rather than reflecting on their own areas for improvement. Unfortunately businesses without a focus on customers will receive unsatisfactory reviews on occasion. Overall this place looks good for meals but avoid if all you are after is a warm drink during winter as it is a little pricy. I hope this business reflects on this review rather than take the opportunity to make up a story as an excuse. read more
