The accompanying spinach is a curious ball of umami and the onsen eggs have me leave poached eggs behind in the dust. The pho is incredibly rich yet delicate and the black sesame shake is grey like concrete, just the way black sesame anything should be. Despite not being a follower of My Kitchen Rules, I somehow still know of Shanelle and Uel. It's a delight to see them hard at work in the kitchen when we visit and even more so when we see them truly embodying their name, bantering with their staff and checking in to make sure they've eaten.
