It is indeed an abysmal morning. The wind leaves a chilling sensation down one's spine, and the ghostly houl of the surroundings is almost deafened from the chattering of teeth in the icy morning. But never fear. For Coffee Fest lies within Macquarie Centre, with staff awaiting your arrival - with spontaneous service to ensue. Perhaps a crisp, hot cheese, ham and tomato toastie is what your palate is desperately hunting down, or just a mere coffee - whatever the order, and how many the people - this cafe will give it to you within minutes. Quite possibly the most efficient cafe I have ever known.
But on such morning, one may have negative views - I certainly do.
The cafe has recently raised their prices, but the quality is the same - which I found rather disappointing, and the atmosphere is right next to the cinemas and other nearby shops. So it may be good for a quick break from shopping, but one must seek another place if one wishes to sit down for an extended period of time. Quite simply, the staff are dedicated and efficient - the quality is good and consistent, but for what it is to be commended for in terms of quality and service, it fails to deliver in atmosphere and there are better places to sit down for a chat. read more
