And, she is always stressing the importance of grabbing caffeine at this spot for their tasty lattes and delicious sandwich options. Anytime we make a trip here, we are consistently met with a warm welcome and engage in genuine conversations with the staff. The owner's hospitality is truly infectious and her good energy makes her customers feel at ease before going to work or a long road trip. The blend of ingredients in their lattes are also quite unique and give Heavenly Grind a signature flavor profile that you can't find anywhere else. Their lattes really do taste like your favorite aunt made them! Don't sleep on the food either. My favorite sandwich is the Croisammie with the spicy jelly! Fire Despite the limited menu, I believe that this humble coffee spot has everything people need to start their day off right and to serve their community day in and day out. Easy on and off I-40, as we visited early morning going eastbound to TN and close to noon on the way back west to CA on a Sunday. Going really early, I do echo the sentiments of the Memphis reviewer here, that they have the appropriate staff on hand at the early crack-of-dawn opening, and they do their part to get the store up and running. I do get that they need to accomplish a bunch of tasks to get the store up to speed, so the perception of they being lackadaisical is a bit of a deception. Even at 5:37am CST they are quite friendly and engaging! And on the way back west, I happened to stop there, aware that it was approaching Sunday noon-time hour, dreading the crush of the church-going crowd. And surprisingly it was very mellow and easy, like a Sunday morning! Staff during the brunch time hours were just as pleasant and engaging like the early morning crew, and I had recognized a couple of them as the early morning starters! Items were in stock from the bakery case, and unfortunately none of the Refresher drinks were available to mobile order ahead; I forgot to ask if there was a stocking issue, but had already picked out another cold beverage.
