There is lots of seating inside and outside offering nice views of the bird enclosure which can make a pleasant afternoon on a good day. The Coffee here is only mediocre and a little expensive for the quality; the Americano is of a decent size though, but the taste is defiantly lacking depth and texture. However, the location is this places asset. The food is mainly snacks like donuts and pastry's but they seem to be offering more healthy non-sweets as well recently. This branch of Starbucks is a fairly small branch, located on Freidrichstr and is really close to…read morethe railway station as well as a few other shops along the street of the same name. When I came into the store, it seemed really busy, which was much busier than most other stores I had saw at 10:30 in the morning and the store didn't seem to be able to cope with that in terms of space and tables etc. This store had a great range of city mugs from the likes of Berlin, Munich, Koln and Hamburg as well as to-go mugs from Berlin and Germany and two lots of Germany themed Starbucks mugs, in my opinion, they seemed overpriced but still on the same level as other Starbucks stores which sell them in Berlin. I've often found Starbucks in Germany and most of Europe to be much more expensive than the likes of the UK and US, probably down to licensing etc. I ordered a Grande Caramel Macchiato and overall my drink was okay, it wasn't impressive or awful either, I would have liked my drink to have been made slightly better to avoid some of the contents sinking to the bottom and causing a huge sweetness and perhaps with more caramel drizzle would also have been good. I didn't like where they had put certain pre-prepared drinks such as the ColdBrew and Lime Refresha, which was right next to a table full of customers, it just felt a little careless the way they had located them, and shown they really are struggling for space. The service wasn't great, mainly down to the language barrier and sadly the staff didn't seem too friendly or keen to help. Mainly down to the drink quality, high pricing as with Starbucks in Germany tends to be, slight issues with service and major issues with the space inside and the amount of seating, I sadly feel this branch deserves a single one star, there are 19 Starbucks stores in Berlin, including one in Berlin Central Station and Berlin Tegel Airport, perhaps another branch would be a better and more relaxing idea, I feel mainly down to the cleanliness also being poor inside the branch, for example I had to clean my own table, I feel it deserves a single one star rating.
