The iced ube latte was not good at all, I didn't realize it doesn't contain any espresso (which isn't stated anywhere on the menu - I found out through a photo on yelp as I was writing this review). The mocha was good, but not the best. A waste of $18...

This was my first time ever going to this coffee shop. I've always seen a lot of people go into this building with a briefcase or laptop, but I honestly thought it was an office building and not a workspace/coffee shop!! Lol. I was rather shocked to see it was a coffee shop, and I liked all their seasonal winter drinks! I wanted to try the Nordic water, but the barista said sadly they got hit really hard on Sunday with a bunch of coffee lovers and they ran out of the mixture. I decided to get a regular latte with almond milk and a gluten-free blueberry muffin as well as a chocolate croissant! All three items were delicious, and I was really surprised how creamy the almond milk was on the latte!! Almond milk usually taste kind of flat to me, but this almost taste like a hemp milk or perhaps a macadamia nut milk! I was very impressed!! Not to mention the gluten-free blueberry muffin, and the giant chocolate croissant was so flaky and crunchy with the perfect amount of chocolate inside!! Inside, there were two different work areas one could go to while the register area was towards the middle of the store. I really wish I could work from home and sit in this coffee shop all day and order lunch, a salad and maybe some avocado toast with a nice glass of wine! No joke they had all of that and more!! The only thing I would keep from giving them five stars is the area in which you're supposed to wait/stand as you're waiting for your drink. Since this was my first time here and it was a Monday around 11 AM, there seem to be a lot of people coming and going by the pick up counter. I stood off to the side, but I felt as if I was getting in everyone's way either in front or behind me. Lol the restrooms are also to the right hand side, so perhaps they were all going to and from the restroom or getting a booth?! Nevertheless, I didn't want to stand in the back of the café, where you could doctor up your drink because there's a trashcan there, but I felt I would block the walkway for people coming out of that seating area as well. Lol. I will definitely go back again, and I can't wait to try that Nordic latte!!

This is my second Coffeebar location after visiting the Truckee one, and Menlo Park has the same relaxed, elevated vibe I liked there. It's not just a coffee shop -- they serve alcohol and food as well, so it works for everything from a quick caffeine stop to a casual meal. We ordered a matcha latte and the autumn spice tea latte, and both were solid. Well-balanced, not overly sweet, and great for a cozy afternoon. I already know I want to try their rooibos chai next time. For food, we shared the chicken and rice dish. Generous portion, plenty of avocado, and it tasted fresh and healthy without feeling boring. A great option if you want something more substantial than pastries.

I'm a huge fan of this coffee shop and their coffee. I love the interior design with it's nature feel and tree-trunk tables, etc. The coffee shop is huge with plenty of seating. There are different things going on in here from people just chatting it up with their friends, individuals studying and doing business work. I love the diversity, not to mention the radio station that was just on this morning was awesome! They were playing Teddy Pendergrass! The flap sign menu is such a great idea. Every so often, the board flips the menu into a new saying/quote. They have a good variety of pastries and sweet goods along with an actual lunch menu and afternoon wine for the adults. I tried their dark roast which was the Giuseppe flavor. It's pretty bold with a silky texture. I also like how they sell coffee by the 8 oz cup which is awesome because sometimes, a 12 oz cup can be a bit too much. Refills for drips are $1 which is reasonable. The employees here are nice and very friendly. There is no complaint from me. I like Coffee Bar and what they have to offer!

This is a really cute coffee shop in Menlo Park and probably the best coffee shop I've been to for studying. They have really comfortable booths and a huge variety of seating. The food menu is amazing. My only disappointment was that they couldn't take the cheese out of the breakfast burrito since it's premade. Instead I had the hot oats with peanut butter and it was delicious. I also had a dirty chai latte with oat milk that was amazing. Not too spicy, not too sweet. I liked the music selection and that it wasn't too loud. This is a great place to work, solo date or a meetup!

This place has a very cool vibe - dog friendly place. The people taking the orders were smiling and relaxed. The avocado toast was great and the rice bowl was yum. I really enjoyed the lavender mocha. There was a car show going on - felt like I was in Monterey but didn't have huge crowds - just people who enjoy cars and loved sharing their passions.

Veggie panini - it was ok

Got a pumpkin latte, it was ok but they put so much cardamom on top I couldn't taste the pumpkin for a while... and I don't like cardamom so.... The veggie panini was good, nothing special. Visually it was underwhelming. The bread was crunchy. You can't go wrong with cheese, Basil & tomatoes... definitely wants worth $14... The place is spacious and packed! Staff are nice. But we ordered for here and they gave it to-go and person after us had ordered to go and gave him for here. And it took a long time for our stuff to be ready. So service was a bit off...

This is a great, spacious cafe for working or chatting with friends! I love the ambiance, and the staff here are so friendly. Most importantly, the drink selection is awesome--with so many options to try! I can't wait to come back and explore more of the coffee menu. The cinnamon roll was surprisingly good; it looked really sweet but wasn't overly sugary, just what I was hoping for! I'll definitely be back. There's free parking right in front, along with street parking, and many great restaurants nearby. It's the perfect spot to visit before or after a meal!

Coffee and food are really good. The service is great everyone is nice and helpful. The atmosphere here and vibe is cool. I come here about 2 times a week and it's always busy but they are fast. Seating is limited, most people camp out and work so that plays a big factor in finding a place to sit. If you're doing a grab and go it's usually quick.

I got a double iced mocha which was about $6. I liked that it wasn't too sweet. I also got the huge chocolate chip cookie which I had higher expectations for. The dough is nice but I wish there were more chocolate shards throughout. The music selection was very fun indie rock which was a good vibe. There's a lot of seating but also a lot of people. Only some tables have outlets. Free wi-fi! Ample parking in lots nearby with a 3 hour limit.

    Cafe latte and snickerdoodle

I came back today after a few months away, having visited regularly before I graduated. Unfortunately, this experience was quite disappointing compared to my previous visits. When I ordered, the cashier was unusually terse, sticking to one-word questions--"name, size, to-go?"--with no greeting or friendliness. I asked for a latte and a cookie, warmed, to have here, but the cookie was handed to me in a bag instead of on a plate. I clarified again that I wanted it warmed, and she microwaved the cookie--with the bag--for about 30 seconds, which made it so hot I could barely hold it. The barista who called my name seemed rushed, even though there weren't any customers behind me. I noticed her set down another customer's latte so abruptly that it sloshed and spilled on the counter, which she didn't clean up. When she set down my drink, she did the same thing, although luckily it didn't spill. The coffee and cookie themselves were still good, as always. However, I was honestly shocked at the decline in service, since I've consistently had great experiences here in the past. I made a special trip to get some work done here, but after today, I'm considering other options for the future.

When does your new Redwood City branch open?

    https://www.paloaltoonline.com/blogs/p/2018/08/10/coffeebar-to-expand-to-redwood-city

When will their soft opening be over and what will the hours be?

When I last spoke to one of the staff a couple of weeks ago, I was told that the soft opening should be over once they hire sufficient staff. Then, the hours will be prolonged to 9pm or 10pm at night.

Decor is cute but sleek, vibes are calm, bar seating by window and a few small tables with seats. Ordering is fast at the kiosk front desk which doesn't seem to have a cashier. Lots of tasty drink options with milk choices and customizable sweetness and ice level - much appreciated! Cakes were delicious and filled with freshly whipped cream. We had the hojicha and biscoff ones. Not incredibly busy - a lot of orders were takeout. Cons: A lot of things were out of stock by 1pm but maybe this is due to Mother's Day. Pricey but the items were high quality. Store is a small footprint with limited utilities (no WiFi, bathroom was temporarily out of order). Parking is very difficult- it's on el Camino so the cars are unforgiving if you're trying to parallel park, and the road parallel by a block is not much better. It has an alley and a very cramped space in the back for a lot. Expect to walk.
