You order in one window and get the coffee in a paper bag at the other window. They do not speak English here or try. Communication is easy because they only sell one type of coffee at the window and have two sizes. I did well with pointing. It is a place you want to know what you want before getting to the window. They have little patience and long lines. They run like robots here. It is crazy fast how work. Have payment on hand. The shop in near the spice market. The coffee here is well known. I bought some to take home. A week later the coffee smells just like it did when I first bought it. I intended to buy coffee so I packed zip bags for it. Their smoking section is connected to the no smoking section so no matter where you sit, you will breathe second hand smoke. They have the capability of closing the door to keep it separate but it would cause the waiters to continuously have to open and close them if they were serving both sides. Their apple tea is a good drink to get your appetite started while the kebaps are grilled and they serve it in a French coffee press. We stayed in Istanbul for 4 days and tried their kebaps on our first day for dinner. We had other domatesli kebaps at other restaurants but it didn't come nearly as close to theirs. You'll have it once and never want to eat kebaps anywhere else. Highly recommended.
