Probably the smoothest cappuccino I've ever had. No intense bitterness that puts hair on your chest. This is silky smooth, medium roast and handles with skill and care. It's fascinating to just observe the team interaction with guests and handling a massive crowd. An impressive coffee shop to say the least.

Such an adorable little coffee shop in Galway!!! We stopped in to grab coffee on our way out town and spent some time here. They also have prints and arts so I got the cutest post cards from here. I just got a latte which was simple and delicious but someone else with me got a hot chocolate which looked amazing. Such a cute little shop that you have to stop in. Staff was all super nice and friendly and just good vibes all around.

Amazing coffee in the heart of Galway! We stopped by to grab a cappuccino before our road trip to Cliffs of Moher. The barista was friendly and produced such a delicious tasting cup of cappuccino. The coffee beans used were high quality and definitely had a strong caffeine effect. This cup helped us pull the all nighter we needed!

This place knows it's coffee. I've had a lot of cappuccinos in my life and this is up there with the best of them. Silky smooth foam along with very espresso that has a nice medium roast with a nutty hint to it. Amazing. The cafe itself is cute. Has a lot of little nicks and knacks from local artists. The leather aprons on the baristas made me think I was in Brooklyn for a second. Worth a stop to get your caffeine fix.

Passed through looking for a quick coffee shop and found a gem. One of the best chais I've had in my life. Baristas are super hospitable and the environment is unlike any other. Great spot.

Seven years later. And back with our addition. Just as good! So happy to find this establishment still available post pandemic. Worth the stop. Amongst the tourist establishments this is anything but run of the mill.

best espresso coffee we had in Ireland

Superb Sweedish? Espresso and best coffee drinks we had while in Galway, Ireland, and certainly up there with my favorites of all time. The coffee shop is small, modern and hip, located in the charming Latin quarter of Galway, a quaint seaside town and vacation getaway for the Irish and tourists alike. The espresso pours were perfection, the coffee grounds for each shot were hand weighed by a counter scale before brewing, the steamed oat milk here was creamy and divine. Wished I brought some of the coffee beans and milk back with me to the states. Loved the cool stationary and pens, they had a store upstairs as well. We bought some beautiful postcards of Galway which we will frame. They had a large selection of artistic postcards on heavy textured card stock-not the glossy toursit shop variety of postcards. Definitely worth a stop.

4 stars for this teeny tiny, cute coffee shop in the Latin Quarter. My friend and I were exploring the streets of Galway and were in need of a mid-day pick me up when we stumbled upon Coffeewerk & Press. The space is very, very small and made specifically for ordering to go. After you've ordered your coffee you can browse through all the artwork and cute paper products that they have for sale. I had a really great time looking through the postcards which were all designed by local artists. They also have cool little trinkets for sale like mini puzzles, waterbottles, and more. As for their coffee, they make everything fresh right in front of you. You can choose from a variety of different coffees - they've got a big list for you to look through. I kept it simple and got a small soy latte. It came in a teeny tiny cup with local artwork on the front. The coffee was delicious and hit the spot perfectly. If you need a quick pick me up, definitely swing through this spot.

loved the coffee here, it was very full bodied and rich, a hundred times better than the bitter watered down coffee you get in chains like Costa and Nero. The cafe is small but has a quirky feel to it with a nice art gallery and some seating upstairs. They also sell a few nice books and card games too. Overall the coffee was excellent but the price was higher than normal, about €3 for an Americano. Also they serve in paper cups even if you sit in.

This is THE best coffee shop I've ever been to, and I've been an intense coffee connoisseur for years while traveling to many parts of the world. Ambiance, service, coffee, & baked goods are always on point.

We stopped by after eating across the way and thoroughly enjoyed perusing this shop. We ended up overpaying for a couple small things, but the fiancee was happy so it was worth it. The post cards here are great and we held on to the paper coffee cup for a while because it was too cute to throw out.

LOVED this coffee/concept shop. Excellent coffee/flat whites served in neat little paper cups. (Would love it even more if they offered mugs ;), but I get there are only tables outdoors.) The shop sells artwork and other cool things, with more upstairs. We ended up purchasing a few. The shop is located on the main drag in Galway, so super crowded. They don't have seating inside, unless you bring your coffee upstairs and sit in the windows (also nice.) We got lucky and grabbed a table outside. Definitely stop in while in town!

The space itself is small and cozy, with just a handful of tables and a private room, which gives it that intimate, tucked‑away feel. I'd 100% go back. They offer two specialty cocktails and a wine list, and while the cocktail selection is limited, the wines are unique and fantastic -- definitely worth exploring. The food was outstanding across the board. The monkfish scampi isn't what you might picture, but it's fantastic -- super crispy and full of flavor. And you have to get the bread: tomato focaccia or brown bread, then topped with the fennel, thyme, and maple butter were all unforgettable. The bavette steak was delicious, and the mashed potatoes were truly out of this world. The sea trout was incredibly fresh; just a heads‑up that the gremolata is spread over the whole dish, so it ends up almost poached in olive oil -- worth noting for anyone sensitive to that, but the flavor itself was excellent. Definitely end the night with the affogato and the shortbread cookies (chef's kiss). Who doesn't like to dunk their dessert? Highly recommend, would absolutely come back.

Also it's easy access with free parking and only 10 mins from the town centre located next to the Aquarium in Salthill, overlooking the prom. For food, they tick all the boxes for cafe food; sandwiches, wraps, salads, soup, breakfast (fry ups, muesli, oatmeal, scramble eggs etc. ), all under €10. There's also a few desserts which change everyday, usually cakes, brownies, cupcakes, cookies etc. They also have kids menu with each thing costing only 2.50, but it's quite limited. The service is average, nothing particularly fantastic or anything. The inside of the cafe is pretty spacious with lots of tables, and it's really bright near the windows, but kind of dark on the back half of the cafe. On a good day, the outdoor seating is pretty nice too. Coffee is great!! Arabica is one of the two best places in Galway for coffee, the other being Mocha Beans in my opinion. You can have it soya for 50 cent extra, or add syrup for and extra 20 cent. This Arabica was also probably about the only cafe open on Boxing Day in the whole city!!
