Earplugs are supplied and you can also ask for a room at the back of the complex. This is an older style motel that has been given a complete makeover. The rooms are spacious, modern and finished to a high standard. The bathrooms are a little compact, but other than that the room has everything you need. We only stayed for a stop over but it was comfortable and has a pool if the weather suits. There is an in house restaurant near reception but was closed on the night we stayed; however the staff were happy to provide options for places to eat close by.

You would expect that when a group of 8 of you check in they would assist with getting all your luggage to your room which was a big FAIL. The room we stayed in was very clean and had generous rooms. The kitchen was very well appointed and well equipped with what you would expect from a resort. The Buree we stayed in was the family room and it had four bedrooms with three bathrooms, one of which had a spa bath. The free Austar/Foxtel was great for the days that weren't very good weather wise but be warned, the resort offers WIFI but it's very expensive. If you have time to use or need internet access, you may be better off going to your local telco and buying a wifi/3G USB dongle. Plenty of parking but a fair distance from the reception if you have lots of luggage to carry. Although the resort does have use of trolleys. The restaurant overlooking the ocean was very picturesque and the food was very nice and very reasonably priced. Lunchtime time mains were around $15 and very tasty. The many pools on the grounds of the resort meant there was no shortage of cooling off after a day of sight seeing around Coffs Harbour. Even on wet days, the outdoor heated spa baths were very relaxing. Then of course there was the beach which was only a short walk from the resort. A wonderful location for families as there were plenty of things to do. The kids swimming area with water slide was a big hit with my niece. Final analysis: It's an 8 out of 10 for me. Great family getaway. Good way to unwind and relax.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and the employees are very polite. The coffee is rich and strong without being bitter, and can be reduced down if needed. The smoothies are pristine (recommend the cookies & cream smoothie to satisfy your sweet tooth. The place is truly incredible and an absolute recommendation from me. Last time we came here, you could see whales from the cafe, so if you come here in the right season, you may be able to see a pod of whales or dolphins if you're lucky. Be sure to stop by here for a quick stop or even a meal!

The lounge was horrible as the bartenders and waiters were rude. The drinks were extremely expensive as well. Food was ice cold. The hotel itself was disgusting. Somebody relieved themself in the pool so we couldn't use that and there were cockroaches in the room. On the bed there were stains and bedbugs. Asked for a room change and after a full hour struggle the management finally gave us a different room. In that room, the bathroom was cramped and smelled horrible. Bad bad bad. 1/5 stars.
