My husband has been going to Marie-Pascale for years, and recently went to her as a last-minute emergency patient to extract a nerve that was about to go bonkers in his mouth. He highly recommended her so I booked an appointment with her three weeks in advance for a cleaning. Dentists appointments are never fun, but I found my time with Marie-Pascale quite zen-like in fact. Her cabinet is located in a lovely pierre-de-taille building near Nation. Her waiting room and treatment room have all of the beautiful trims and finishes of a bourgeois apartment, but all of the equipment and furniture is extremely clean, modern and high-tech. Her treatment chair was super comfy and ergonomic, and was placed right next to the open bay windows so my head was on the same level as the tree tops outside -- quite a nice position to be in while having your mouth ajar for 20 minutes. Marie-Pascale did a very deep, yet totally painless, cleaning of my teeth and hummed along to some melodies playing on her stereo while doing so. She showed me my x-rays on her computer afterwards (all looks good, as usual, I've actually never had a cavity!) and gave me some tips about more effective brushing (use a soft brush as if you were polishing a round ball and when brushing, think only about brushing your teeth, don't let your mind wander). So how much did this pain-free, high-tech, quick and pleasant experience cost? Just 45E, much of which I'll get reimbursed for! Gotta love France!

We arrived at the hospital the next morning at 10 am and were immediately put in touch with dentist on call, Dr. Hazan. He informed me that the room needed for dental treatment was not available on Sunday. Then, to my great surprise, asked me to meet him at his office in 20 minutes. Within an hour, I was equipped with all the advice and medications I needed to enjoy my time in Paris. He asked me to call him the next day to check-in and to return to his office in two days so that he could make sure I was healing as expected and would be able to return home without danger or discomfort. I can not say enough about Dr. Hazan's kindness, generosity and professionalism. He is an excellent dentist with a heart of gold and an extremely supportive staff. Parisians are certainly fortunate to have his services available to them. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Hazan for saving our trip to Paris.

EXCELLENT CARE. VERY COMPETENT DOCTOR…read more I discovered Dr. Pandraud through the American Hospital in Paris, but he also has a private office. Dr. Pandraud speaks English. He is the BEST ENT I have ever seen in the world. Firstly for his effective treatments that rarely involve medication and secondly for his availability and compassion. When I am in the area, it means I have taken an airplane and sometimes I'll have plugged ears that don't go away. I can always get an appointment with Dr. Pandraud pretty easily. He does some manoeuvrings and then has me drink water and bing! Like magic my ears feel better. He has also helped me with sinus infections and very effective nasal lavage. This is a technique that empties the sinuses thereby relieving congestion and the resulting headaches. You feel better instantly without medication. Finally, since I trust him more than any other ENT in the states, I decided to come here when I needed laser surgery to remove polyps in my nasal sinus. The procedure is simple. I used to get chronic sinusitis (one nostril would always be blocked). I would be sick with a stuffy nose at least once a month. Additionally, every little cold turned into a week-long ordeal with painful sinus headaches. Now, thanks to Dr. Pandraud, I can blow my nose and any seasonal flus go away in a day or two and I am almost never sick. If you need laser surgery in your nose or throat and you have the possibility to see Dr. Pandraud, I believe the trip is definitely worth it.

I went because I was sick…read morewith bronchitis for a period of about 3 weeks and wanted to take care of it without antibiotics (due to bad response to antibiotics previously). Yes, the doctor was a very nice and polite man and he did speak english reasonably well. After I called him, he agreed to see me that same evening. He ended up cleaning my sinuses and even stayed late on a Friday night to do so, which I think is unheard of in US. The important piece of information that is missing is that he charges 100 EUR per visit which explains his fantastic office on Champs-Elyseés and the very chic decor in the waiting room. Having been to another doctor in Paris and having paid 23 EUR per visit there (about the norm), which was a pretty bad experience overall, I can clearly say Dr. Luc's services are not tailored for the average man, based on the clientele I saw in the waiting room. So if you can afford 100 EUR visits, go ahead - enjoy the experience! He is a good doctor and seems to be a nice man. But I thought I'd mention the price tag.

While visiting Paris, our son got a bloody nose that kept bleeding intermittently. We looked…read moreonline and found an English-speaking GP who referred us to Dr Belnoue, and we were able to schedule an appointment that same afternoon. The moment we arrived at his office we knew our son was in good hands. As Americans, we are accustomed to endless forms, insurance paperwork, and sky-high costs. Imagine our surprise when Dr Belnoue himself met us at the door and escorted us into the lovely waiting room, which looked like someone's living room with sailing posters and jazz playing in the background. We waited for maybe 5 minutes while he treated the patient before us, and then he brought us into his office. After discussing the issue and examining our son, he cauterized the blood vessel and prescribed an antihistamine and salve. The whole thing cost 70 Euros total, compared to the same procedure we had done previously in California for $800 at an urgent care clinic. Dr Belnoue could not have been nicer, and his English was excellent. The antihistamine worked better than any we've ever found in the US - so much so that we want to return to Paris to see Dr Belnoue and get a big supply of Inorial! As we left the doctor's office, our son said with a big smile "that's the best doctor visit EVER."
