After months of hearing nothing, I began calling the store for updates in March 2026. After multiple unanswered follow-ups and missed promises to call me back, I was finally informed that although the store had entered my order with "corporate", the dress had never actually been ordered from the designer. Let that sink in: six months after taking my payment, no one had placed the order. I was only made aware of this because I repeatedly called to check on the status myself. Had I not followed up, I have no idea when--or if--I would have been told. By the time the mistake was discovered, the earliest possible delivery date was months later than originally promised, leaving me scrambling to find a replacement wedding dress and pay rush fees to ensure I had something to wear on my wedding day. Management acknowledged the error, agreed to issue a refund, and agreed to reimburse the rush fees I incurred as a direct result of their failure to place the order. I submitted the requested documentation, yet months later I am still chasing them for resolution and follow-through. Mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is taking a bride's order, failing to place it, failing to proactively communicate the issue, requiring the customer to discover the mistake herself, and then failing to promptly resolve the situation afterward. A wedding dress is one of the most important purchases a bride will make. Because LUV Bridal failed to place my order, I had to rush to find a replacement dress (6 months before my wedding) and lost the opportunity to share that experience with my family. That's a moment I can't get back.

First of all, I was on a very tight time line because we decided to elope in weeks. I jumped on Etsy and ordered what I thought would be the perfect veil with enough time to receive the item. But, when the veil arrived the shade of rose gold did not match my dress. I quickly notified Monique and asked what I should do. She immediately told me she could help me. She calmly explained she had a new color that might work and she could dye a new veil and add the metallic flakes and get it mailed before my date. The date I notified her was 6 days from my wedding date. She made it happen. The veil arrived the day of the ceremony before noon as promised and was absolutely perfect. But then I found a photo on Pinterest of a bride with an incredibly thin black veil in the sheerest, most delicate tulle I've ever seen, and I adored it. I miraculously tracked it down as having been made by Cleo & Clementine, so I reached out to them and asked them about the possibility of making one for me. I actually assumed it would be way more expensive than it was, but the price (~$300 for cathedral length) was within my range. They worked with me via email to create my custom order, and it finally arrived tonight! My dress is also being custom made, so I don't have it yet, and therefore don't have any way of knowing how the veil with look paired with my dress. I imagine, though, that it will be perfect. It's the exact fabric I asked for, and I can't wait to see the end result. I'll definitely return to post photos after my wedding day!
