The staff was working their arms that night. It was busy and the customers kept coming in the door. I know they like locking the doors at closing time. The line moved fast and soon enough I was up close and trying to decide how many flavors I wanted. Not sure if something wrong w my order or if it's standard but this was so sweet it was like eating frozen frosting. Wondering if they mixed in the "whip " topping that came with the theme.cause there wasn't any. It's still in our freezer and we are trying to choke it down a spoon at a time but going in Garbage. My go-to for birthday cakes. I am able to preorder online what I want, and go to pick it up. Super quick and convenient. Always come out beautiful and delicious. Workers are always friendly. Our new favorite is the, 'there's peanut butter on my chocolate' ice cream pie. Sooo good and a great dessert to bring to parties! We also enjoy the strawberry blonde, in the gotta have it size. Tip, due to it being an ice cream shop, it's relatively cooler inside, so may need a jacket for fall and winter months. Usually quick line and not as busy as it was back in the day. As a former Cold Stone Creamery manager that trained at this location, I am extremely disappointed by the quality provided by the team members at the Gresham location! My wife and I created our own Love It (medium size) half Silk chocolate and half mint ice cream with Oreos mixed in. When the team member finished scooping up the Silk Chocolate ice cream, she directly went to the mint ice cream with the same ice cream scooper without even washing it - talk about a health hazard for those with allergies! What was also disappointing is the lack of effort in mixing the ice cream because it felt like an ice cream sandwich without the bread! She crushed the Oreos a few times and then folded the two flavors together. The best part of all this, we paid $6.50 for it. Even though I am over 10 years removed from the Cold Stone Creamery days, I will always remember how difficult any chocolate ice cream can be to mix because of how often we replaced it from the freezer but asking someone to pay $6.50 for an ice cream "sandwich" with nearly full Oreos is saddening. read more

If you have a birthday bogo don't bother using it! My husband and I got two love it sized ice creams for my birthday and were different of course but when I went to the counter to redeem it they told me they had to be the same flavor which is nonsense I've used this bogo before and has never required that. I asked what the restrictions were and the staff are so incompetent that they couldn't tell me any of the restrictions for future use. So they told me just look at the website and I did but there are no mentions of any restrictions under birthday bogo at all. They robbed me of my money and made a sour finish to my birthday by having an argument with the staff over their incompetence. read more

So it's a Cold Stone - they've been around a long time and you pretty much know what you're getting. I've always had good service here. I've noticed that their offerings for online ordering do not match what's actually in store. So usually when we want to create our own we just go inside to see what they have. We've ordered their specials before online for pickup because I was always confident they'd have everything for those and it hasn't been a problem. Decided to order the DIY cupcakes once. I guess I thought they would be pieces that we put together but they were assembled when I got them. They were really good, but not what I expected. Last time I looked it seemed like they made it more clear online what it was. I was a little disappointed just because I thought it was kind of fun to put them together ourselves. They have a nice variety and the specials change often. Ice cream like this doesn't travel too well so we usually just eat it before we leave. They have a rewards program, which I always like, but the birthday reward is a BOGO. For us it works because I'll get mine free and he'd buy one anyway, but for single people it's kind of like an un-gift since they can't just get one for free. Still pretty happy with them. read more

Went into this place at around 8pm on a Friday. Three ladies working, one platinum blonde hair, one blonde hair and one curly reddish blonde. It was 5-10 minutes before my wife and I were acknowledged. One of them said hi and then started working on a to go order. A second one helped with that to go order and the third one kept going in and out of the back and messing with the register and cash. No apologies for the delay. No I will be right with you. If you want to ignore your customers you will have fewer and fewer customers as time goes on. I am in the customer service industry. I have never just let someone walk into my store without saying hi and welcome in. Thankfully my wife was able to get her ice cream. As for the rest of the shop. The ice cream is so unbelievably creamy, it's almost as if they didn't use milk but rather heavy cream. It also tastes so fresh, similar to the ice cream I've had from creameries where the cows graze right next door. Someone i was with got one of their signature ice creams and it didn't come with any of the toppings or drizzles. Haven't been to a Cold Stone in a long time. Service was friendly, but thought the pricing was a little high. Friend came here with a buy one get one free birthday coupon, so I shouldn't complain. They have a signature creations menu or you can mix your own. I picked from the signature creation and asked for a few changes. The staff was very willing to accommodate. I am unaware of the full story as to why this might be and am willing to give management the benefit of the doubt. Even so, I know the difficulty of being overwhelmed with customers with no support. It's ok. I orded some icecream cupcakes online and went to pick them up the next day, unfortunately, no one was there to help me. Very quiet inside. The store was semi-clean. Tables and countertops were sticky with icecream drips. The floor was sprinkled with those multi colored sprinkles all over. I was on the search for someone to help me. I knew someone had to be there since there was a couple sitting in the corner eating icecream cones together. Maybe the counter help went to the bathroom? Lunch break? I waited about 10 minutes thinking about what noise I could make to get the attention for some help. Maybe I could whistle or bang my keys on the counter. Hey, I could just go behind the counter and help myself to some icecream. Waited another 5 min. Watching the couple eat ice cream. FINALLY...a young kid came out to help me. I just needed my cupcakes. He found my order and that was it. I didn't realize how small those cupcakes were. Delivered them to the birthday party and everyone was happy. I came in with my boyfriend and his two kids (4 and 7). We arrived around 8:30 on a Wednesday. There was a blonde and brunette working. The workers for starters, one was making out with her boyfriend in the hallway as you walk in, and we were not greeted. The boys asked for samples and the worker was very short and had a lot of attitude because they took a minute to decide. Then once the other girl who was done making out with her boyfriend came behind the counter and whispered something snarky to her coworker while looking at us, and then laughed and continued with their attitudes, and now not being able to look in our direction. They both then greeted the next customer who walked in, and then continued to whisper to each other, and make rude comments. As far as my ice cream, they barely put my toppings I requested and the ice cream wasn't mixed, the waffle cones were stale and tasted old, and the store was dirty and sticky. I would give this Cold Stone zero stars if I could. Ordered through Doordash 2 days ago. What I ordered was a pint of the Coffee Lovers Only and a side waffle cone. What I received was a pint of melted Ben & Jerry's Coffee Toffee Crunch with some sliced almonds tossed in, no waffle cone. I paid $19.66. Came here the other day with my 7 yr old. He of course was blown away with all the option and it was his first time to Cold Stone. The service was good. There was only one girl in there and for the amount of customers it would have been beneficial to at least have 1 more if not 2 more people to help with wait time. A true disappointment tonight 2/22/20. Three staff individuals on duty but they simply couldn't manage the crowd. We had to walk out after waiting 30 minutes, many others did as well. This place never disappoints! I ordered the cheesecake fantasy-cheesecake ice cream, graham cracker pie crust, blueberries, and strawberries. Always delicious! My sister got the Founders Favorite-sweet cream ice cream, pecans, brownie, fudge and caramel. She added a whipped topping-which she exclaimed was delicious as well. The girl who helped us was a doll, super friendly and nice! Maybe smelling ice cream all day makes you sweeter. She was 1 of 2 employees working at the time we came in-and unfortunately a sudden rush. We had a to wait about 10 minutes before we were helped but it was totally worth it. I usually give this place a BIG 5 stars, And I've come to know cold stone creamery when I lived in San Diego- so I've had many many cold stone Ice cream experiences. Yesterday, was a day... that it was not ok, and I've been observing these experiences- especially as a customer, I'm going to start off with- the line yesterday, Yesterday there was a long line- screaming children and I felt the tension, But yet there was only 2 people at the time working actually on the ice cream and those same 2 people were only doing the pick ups and deliveries, the cashier woman was only by the cashier- they NEED to add more people before people stop wanting, enjoying coming here. I saw they were definitely struggling. Also where they put the line, It's way to tight to walk in and out- they need to remove those tables and chairs before someone literally gets COVID 19, OSHA needs to be on top of this, the walkway- you can't walk across without having to be in very close contact with many other people, you have to walk by many people towards the door- in a very tight space. They should also have curb pick up if they don't have enough space inside especially for the online pick ups, I was ALSO standing in line, decided to go on my phone to place the order because the line was long- my pick up time was going to be in 14 min- thought that was a long time but I decided to do it anyways just in case, they were still not done with the order- they were though choosing pick ups over customers and little kids were beginning to scream & cry which I think their parents were getting tired and sick of it all. Need more employees. I'm actually worried about my health now. Not a joke. And I ordered 3 ice creams- the BOGO, buy one get 1- plus a everybody's pint, They did the 2 correctly but the everybody's pint/tub, did not come out CORRECTLY- it was supposed to be cookie doughn't you want some with peanut butter cups, they only gave me cookie dough and brownie- definitely didn't order that. We usually being the kids here for a treat and have bought several cakes here. Located in the Gresham Station strip mall next to the Red Robin. The parking is located in the back of the store near the Red Robin restaurant. There is plenty of parking since the lot is joined with the parking for the other Gresham Station retailers The ambiance is causal and the staff friendly. The hours are very nice in that they open very late in the Spring/ Summer. They have some really good flavored and I love watching them mix the ice creams and toppings together. The price is moderate to expensive, but not too bad. Overall we like coming here and will continue to do so due to the location and convenient hours. read more
