I love cold stone ice creams and can drive to anywhere for it if I have the craving. One such day we drove to this location for Cold stone ice cream and were disappointed by the service. This review is not for the ice-cream but the service here. They definitely are understaffed or the ppl were new to deal with crowds. When we reached there were 3 groups ahead of us. Group of two and we waited in line for about 20 mins or so to get our ice-cream. Also I feel the quantity for some reason at this location is less than the others. Someone placed an order online and came to pick it up and they had to wait another 20-30 mins as it was not ready. May be they were having a bad day ? I don't know but definitely account for atleast 20-30 mins wait time before you decide to go. read more

Went to go pick up a ice cream cake order I placed last week. Upon arrival and seeing the cake I wasn't satisfied with how birthday was spelled because it looked so sloppy and unreadable. Some Asian middle aged man came out who I'm assuming is the manager and yelled at me in front of my husband and daughter and kept pulling the cake away saying he was going to refund me when I only kindly asked that the word "birthday" be written on the cake again. Ordered a chocolate chipper cake for my daughter's birthday and picked up a day before her birthday. Cut opened the cake and it wasn't what she wanted and just had to talk her out of her disappointment. For those of you unfamiliar with the Cold Stone lingo, small, medium, and large translates to "like it," "love it," and "gotta have it," respectively. A "like it" at this location comes out to about $4.25. Kind of steep, so you may as well be fat and pay a few cents or dollars more for the larger sizes. It seems they no longer ring the cowbell and sing you a song if you leave them a tip, but I could do without that anyway. Dairy Queen is still probably my favorite as far as ice cream chains, followed by the cakes at Carvel, but I do like the concept and quality here. Street parking only. read more

The owner is a jerk! They don't clean their blenders good. I ordered a cotton candy milkshake and then it tasted like banana. I can't stand bananas. So I go back inside and ask nicely if they can make me another milkshake and told them why, the girl was clueless so the owner comes over and starts being intimidating. He raised his voice even when I was talking calm. He kept telling me "what you want me to do" and I said all I want is another. Then he has the nerve to make his worker and him taste the ice cream to make it seem like I'm lying. Then he goes if I make you another one will you not complaining, and then I told him this is my first time complaining. It's like he was flipping over making me a new shake ridiculous. I ask the associate, who was completely honest btw, and the refrigeration is broken, apparently the Air Conditioning was broken too because it was really hot in the store too. Been coming to this specific ColdStone since I was 17, I'm now 28, & they still offer the best flavors, have the nicest staff, & the cleanest establishment. I love bringing my friends & family here because I'm treated like family. I wish their location big enough for me to study because I love how cozy this location is, especially during the autumn & winter seasons. Third and last time here.... first of all the unnecessary wait ( store was practically empty) second for the third time order something from the menu ( chocolate waffle ) and they didn't have it. As I usually go to Costco at least twice a month ( every week back when I was in Puerto Rico) I know the process of dipping the waffle In the chocolate and let it sit for 3 mins on the fridge to be easy and worth waiting for. The answer of the girl ( who didn't want to provide her name) was is a long process, we make it in batches once a week and we already run out ( isn't your product supposed to be fresh and made daily ) after that convo she proceed to prep the order ( 2 gotta have it chocolate devotion) the amount of ice cream was just a joke and it could have fit in the small cup easily she realized that and starting piling the ice cream so it could look like if it was more . At the end requested my receipt and she didn't want to provide it giving instead the credit card receipt only ( as the one from The store has cashier number or name, time of transaction and other info. Not a huge fan of this location. The staff is unfriendly and seems to be less then helpful in helping you decide what flavor to get. You know how ice cream places are normally like, "just let me know if you want to try anything!" -- well don't expect that level of customer service here. The one thing that really annoys me about this particular location is that they don't have napkins unless you ask for them at the counter. It's an ice cream place - you're going to get inevitably messy when your ice cream melts, and it's rather inconvenient to ask for napkins at the counter when there's a huge line and the staff is busy. I had an expectation the young associates would steer me to the perfect ice cream cup. When asked if they have tried any of their own recommendations , they said no. - I put on a pout face! - then put on a dumbfounded face! Which led me to venture out and picked: "That's how I roll" !! It was simply ok. In my strongest opinion not worth $4.50- small cup size. If you have a sweet tooth - this is it! Cake batter ice cream with yellow cake, pecans and cinnamon. This Cold Stone Creamery does not offer a good selection of ice cream choices. It's summertime and there are so many unique flavors they can offer which are seasonal. The display seems to favor similar types of choices: cookies n cream, cookie dough, cookie batter, blueberries in cookie batter-- oh come on! Be more creative. Very few fruit type flavors or unique tastes. Spare me batter tastes. Prices are steep. A kid's cup is $3.99 plus tax. They give you a small cup and fill it half way. Makes you feel like you got half an ice cream. Very little ice cream. The ice cream was soupy and mushy. Not tasty at all. Service is low end. I asked for an itemized receipt for the five ice creams I purchased because I thought there was a mistake. The cashier hemmed and hawed and finally gave it to me and walked away. He was then irritated when I showed him he overcharged me on the ice creams He charged me for five not four ice creams. He then asked what would I like him to do. I asked him to cancel the original credit card purchase and just redo it. He was unpleasant about it and a bit irritated as if it were my fault. But he did it. Said "there" and asked me to sign.
