I asked around and wanted to find the BEST. I was recommended to Assured Home Inspections and after a 10 minute conversation on the phone with Bill, I knew he'd be sure to look into every nook and cranny in our 99 year old home. My agents asked who we chose and when I told them Bill Williams they sighed. I asked if there was a problem and they said, "Well, he's just so detailed - he feels the need to not ever burnt out lighbulb and minor blemish. He's just hard to work with as agents because then people want to ask for a million fixes on houses." I was reassured that I chose the right person! I wanted to know about every blemish! Isn't that the whole point of hiring a professional home inspector?! I wasn't able to be present at the inspection which was very nerve wracking but Bill put me at ease. He called me right after he completed, he let me know that he'd email me the report within a day and then we'd go over every point of the report and that's exactly what happened. After going through the report, I asked him "Would you buy this house?" because it IS a 99 year old house that had a lot of deferred maintenence - he said, "Not only would I buy this house but I'd let my daughter buy this house". Bill is personal while maintaining his professional position. He certainly does not miss a single item in the house. He even noted things that didn't necessarily need to be FIXED but was going to need to be addressed in the coming years. He is just by far the very best inspector out there!

James at Arrowhead Handyman Services removed my chimney and patched the roof, re-sided both ends of…read moremy house, put a new roof on an addition and an entry way, moved a sewer vent on my roof, and installed gable vents, which involved restoration and reconstruction. This was an extensive project. His workmanship was excellent! He was attentive to detail. He took precautions not to cause damage to anything existing that he worked around. Everything he did was precise and square. He initiated keeping at the project with no need for me to motivate him to complete it, and it was done in a reasonable amount of time. He communicated well from the planning and estimating stage, through to the end, explaining what he did and why, involving me in decisions he was about to make, and giving me opportunity to provide feedback. I feel like I got excellent value at a very fair price. I look forward to hiring James again soon for another project.

One window they installed they did a average job with no problems. However when they installed my…read morebathroom window it was done extremely poorly had to come out and fix it. The installers had a very nasty attitude. They left a mess in my dog run with nails in wood. They're lack of professionalism was apparent. I've never been spoken to like that by an installer in my own home. Although I'm a disabled veteran I am not going to be pushed around by someone in my own house. They were paid to do a job and they failed to do it properly. The installer claimed that he did not remove the window that he was replacing and I did not understand what he was saying. If not him and his crew then who removed the window. The job was done in haste and with lack of experience in one of the installers.
